I've not been here for ages but just came on to offer my condolences to everyone who voted for John Kerry is the US elections. I was convinced that
kerry would have won unfortunatly life does not always have a happy ending.
I may incur some wrath for this but i found this on the web, who ever wrote this is a genius with lyrics. Its a re-write of the REM song "its the
end of the world as we know it". I work with an american who left the states when bush took office and will not return while he is in power. He
thinks this is the most accurate portrayal of bush yet.......but the members will no doubt decide. Anyway, here it is (im not having a go at bush
supporters i just think this is quite funny - listen to the proper song - the words fit really well).

ON the 10 point scale of "cleverness" I'd give it a 4, maybe a five.
Not sure how this is NOT "having a go" at Bush supporters though.

When i say im not having a go at bush supporters, i mean i did not write this, i'll hapily have a go at Bush, but will not have a go at anyone for
their views even if they differ from mine. I may question, disagree, have heated debates but it all in the name of democracy as i belive discussion
to be healthy. So comment away........i just though it was clever as i could not do it......and its relevant to current events if even only a bit.
