I remember someone saying a long time ago something about how while your dreaming and if you die in your dream like fall of a building and splat your
mind thinks your really dead so your body just shuts down. ? I dont think this is true at all but anyone ever heard of this?

Can't be proven...
If we found you dead in your bed, how would we know that you'd died in your dream?
This is just an urban legend... don't worry about it.

haha i die all the time in my dream. But dying in a dream can scare people enough to give them heartattacks and kill them.

Last last night I was shot on the head.
Then I saw rolling credits like in a movie.
I think that most people believe this falsehood because you usually wake up BEFORE you die, because ones own death is incomprehensible, until a TRUE
near death experience. (fall and fall and never hit anything ect..)
If you open yourself to any possibility in you dreams, you do the same in your real life. But death will not occur in life because of it has in your
dream.
Accomplishing goals and overcoming fears WILL happen in real time if you can do it in the astral, so those are options to further investigate

Thats neat.
I learned to make them happen now ..Its in a thread about lucid dreaming!
heres the dream:
We robbed a bank, I got on my bike (my real life HD but better paint job and it went alot faster), went to jail, busted out, had a gang fight..great
cops and robbers scene with fatalities on both side. The end was a good fight and I got shot in the head.
credits actually rolled by, that tells you alot about my imagination
The entire time I knew I really wasnt in life danger but I could nt just "fly away" either. It had such excitement, It was so awsome. I woke up in
the middle and got pissed, but by using a mantra I went right back in. ANYWAY
And I know Im not the only one too

I don't believe it either. About two nights ago I had a dream that someone stabbed me to death but then I just woke up. It was strange because I
usually dont start dreaming two minutes into my sleep lol.

I always have dreams that I fall off things, stairs, cliffs, balconies, swings, etc. I havent died yet. I think when you die in a dream it symbolizes
that you are having some sort of rebirth.

I am not 100% certain but normally people wake up before "dying" in their dreams.

I usually wake up or enter another dream when im falling. Dreaming about something horrible i.e. crashes, debris, bodies are the ones I do not like.

I have heard of this-but it is an Urban Legand.
For example-if someone did dream their death, and die in their dream, if their physical body died at the same time, how would we know?
Besides, I have died in dreams, and I am still here to talk about it.
But, yes, once upon a time they did teach this in school.

I had a dream where I was running thru a warehouse made of sheet metal and I took a corner to where a sheet metal room was and one of the walls was
bent out in such a way where I didnt see it and ran into it. the metal went into my chest and when I backed away my chest opened up and my heart flew
into my hands, I had to put it back into my chest and hold it shut lol

I'm willing to bet that there isn't a speck of truth to the "if you die in your sleep, you die in real life" type thing. Maybe the person who made
it up watched a little too much Nightmare on Elmstreet?
Nah, but a few nights ago I had a dream of being in a war. The sky was grey, and there was a grey hue that seemed to make everything a shade darker,
and we were standing around outside (a group of troops, 6 or 7), when we got hit by a mortar shell (I'm assuming) and I got thrown, and as I lay in
the snow bleeding to death I could feel the burning of shrapnel in my face and the pain in my legs, it was a slow death with intense pain... Until I
finaly bled to death, then I woke up. Didn't die in my sleep though.... Could still feel the "pain" but it faded real quick once I realized I was
awake.

Weise-I hope that was not a "prophetic dream"
Considering current world events, that is more frightening than a "Monster"-type dream

Yeah, I hope it wasn't either...
But I have a feeling it was a glimpse into a past life maybe? Considering from what I saw of the helmets, they reminded me heavilly of ww2 German Army
helmets...
Then again, Modern-day American helmets bare a small resemblence to the ww2 German helms, just without the crimped up edges and decals on the sides...

In my 'death dreams' I'm always the killer!
Golf club to the temple, pushing people off cliffs, douple tap to the back of the head with a 9mm, its always me doing it! I have murdered most of my
family & friends several times over in dreams!
Unusual - No
Disturbing - Sometimes
Psychotic - You bet.........

Nah its just a figure of your imagination nothing can physically harm you in your sleep, Unless you get so scared you have a heart attack that could
be possible,
Whilst your in your sleep and this happens dont try to wake up try to take control of the situation try to move this is an out of body exp. astral
projecting.... Whilst projecting you can do anything.. Well i aint going to go on about projecting to much but if you would like me to explain more on
it just U2U me
