I have been doing a lot of research on astrology lately and I have noticed the bible was filled with it. I was never supposed to know about this
because the church I attended when I was younger taught it was the work of the devil. Had I not taken it upon myself to learn it on my own. I never
would have known so much astrology was in there. So do christains really worship the devil? The bible plainly talks about more than one god and some
say the tablets of the sumerians tell the tail of these gods coming from space and I believe that the only one that was left here was the devil... and
we live on the underworld (under the place that they came from) is anybody familiar with any research that has been done on this?

I believe that the genesis of the bible was talking about two gods and that the one we now know of as satan was the actual person who lived on the
earth, which led to the writing of the bible to fool mankind. I am also new here and the first one I posted I thought did not go through so you can
ignore that one. plus it picked the catagory for me. I am sorry I did not see where to pick the catagory.

I'm not sure what this has to do with Aliens & UFOs, but I say no. Even if The Bible was written in code to worship the Devil, Christians believe
they're worshipping The Father and The Son. All their love and all their homage is paid to the Heavenly Father and Son, not the Devil.
What sources did you research?

glad you new, here's a thought. Instead of rushing to make posts why not look around and grasp the layout. This thread doesn't belong in this topic.
I'd love to respond to this thread, but being that it will be deleted if not scrapped, I don't see the point. This would be better under
"CONSPARICIES IN RELIGION" and not in "ALIENS and UFOs"

i word of advice to you...don't let people lead you away from the Bible
you can read the urantia book but just be aware of what it is...
It originated in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., sometime between 1924 and 1955, but its authorship is unclear. There has been much debate and
speculation on how the papers were produced.

The hole concept of worshipping a Superior being is a paradox, think about it and put aside all prejudice and it becomes obvious.
Would a being that is infinite, omnipresent and all knowing be bothered with peons saying prayers to feed his ego ? would he/it really look upon
someone who hasn't made any effort to understand the Universe but swallows hook line and SINKER what ever their pastor tells them in a better light
than say someone who studies the Creation/Universe without prejudice ?.
The answer just leaps of the page at me, as a parent I want my children to study and explore this existance with their own merit. I want them to be
good people with discernment and honesty that show a healthy respect for their fellow humans without prejudice and malice. I want them to not carry
further any of my flaws and I personally teach them the errors I made in life so they aren't repeated. But to get them to worship the ground I walk
on doesn't sound very healthy and to expect them to fall out of favour if they don't say enough "Hail Mary's" or call me Father, Farther,
Further, Fuheur or Dad is irellevent.

The original gnostic christians identified the old testament god as Yaldoboath the demiurge or false creator of prison planet earth and his archons as
his lieutenants with the true god beyond the earthly realms there were divine beings they repected however such as the egyptian god Khnum, whom the
egyptians place as mans creator.
The God's may well of come from elsewhere so who knows maybe this does belong in a ufo column.
Christianity is a form of witchraft or magic what are prayers but spells or incantations, their spiritual warfare is magic in nature-what they don't
sanction is competition some of which is on a par such as egyptian magic.
The Devil in early texts is the accuser, first merchant of heaven whom had every right to enter Gods throne room look up ha satan the jewish
spelling. The devil we know today is a catholic invention of the inquisition era used to justify exterminating heretics etc.

Christians do not consciously worship the devil. Just go to the church once in a while to make sure that it is so.
Why don't you post some passages from the Bible that you think refer to astrology?
As far as the link between the space aliens and the devil is concerned, there have been some associations . . .
www.ufoevidence.org...
As Fr. Kulp declares, many UFO researchers have noted the similarities that seem to exist between the historic descriptions of demonic attack and the
current accounts of "alien abductions", and he concludes that this is no coincidence.

if your making comments about the urantia book you need understand a couple things first. First the Urantia Book is written from the perspective of
"The Watchers", alien spiritual beings that actually work for the first source and center of creation.
To help you understand you should start at the paper the planetary rebellion. It speaks of how the beings put on this planet to help mankind took it
upon themselves to make themselves kings and gods to the creation of "humans".

O.K. I believe and I may be wrong but I believe that is what the bible refers to as the reason for the flood, the gods that became kings and all us
evil people. The Greek Apocalypse of Burach states that some of them lived, I have reason to believe they later wrote the bible.

This is because the Jews spent time in captivitiy in babblon where they learned of the history of the world through the sumerian stories. They then,
for a good part of the Old Testimate, spun out a copy of history, and then changed it to be more nationalistic to the "jews" as the chosen
people.
The "Christ" Jesus, however was the "son of God" come to set free the earth from the planetary ruler, at that time being the devil.
However the question is if the christians worship the devil. Most christians worship an idol of the made up through the mythology spin put down by
Paul about a man that was real.

the Urantia Book is written from the perspective of "The Watchers", alien spiritual beings
the 'watchers' might be demons trying to lead you away from the true teachings of Jesus so be cautious when considering this book.
anyone claiming to be an angel and offering advice that contradicts the Bible is something to be leary of imo.
