The correct name/URL is:

www.youtube.com...

No, you can't download the videos but you can watch them for free
If it's your wish, you can register as a user/member and upload your videos there.

But you can go to Google Videos! The only thing you have to do is downloading the Google Video Player. After that you can download various Videos on Google.

e.g. Terminator 4 Return to Jesus @ Google Video

Actually there is a way.

I am not sure of the lelgality, so if it is illegal, mods please edit post reply.

Set this site in your saved sites folder
Keepvid

Now, go to youtube and pick something to download.

Copy the url into the space on the top of the page on keepvid, pick what site you are downloading from, and click download.

It takes a few seconds but a url will pop up just below.

right-click the link and do a "save as" filename.flv (this is the flash video format)

once the it is downbloaded to your computer, just use a standard media converter to convert .flv to .wav/.wmp/mpeg....
