Stones are living creatures that breathe and move

Stones are living creatures that breathe and move

The stones are said to be able to breathe, move, and exert influence on a person’s health and fate.

French geologists Arnold Rheshar and Pierre Escollet have long studied rock specimens collected in different parts of the world. They arrived at quite an amazing conclusion in the end. They believed that stones have some kind of a vital activity though a very slow one. The geologists maintain the structure of stones is subject to changes, and stones can grow old. Moreover, the French claim stones can breathe, to a certain extent. Taking one “breath” takes them from three days to two weeks. And each of their “heartbeats” lasts about three days. The scientists say they gathered photographic evidence clearly indicating that stones could move. The pictures of stones were taken at large intervals. One of the stones is reported to have moved for 2.5 centimeters in two weeks’ time. The geologists stubbornly maintain that stones are living organisms though some physical processes relating to earth shove or water impact seem to be the most likely reasons behind the phenomenon.

“We can assume that any object in our world in alive,” says Marianna Anisosyan, a therapist and expert in biological energy. “Any event is driven by energy, which stones undoubtedly possess too. Every stone carries a certain amount of life in it,” adds she.

Pink quartz – promotes health and wards off evil spirits

Amethyst – guards against intoxication, gives calmness in danger, and encourages trust

Cat’s eye – protects the wearer against terrors of the night, and is believed to attract wealth

Lazurite – is a stone of special energy that gives power to the wearer. Lazurite is associated with holiness. It is used for making figurines of Buddha and other deities

Diamond – its purity and clarity makes it a symbol of truth, love, and commitment

Cornelian – is believed to ward off ill-health and evil

Malachite – protects against impending danger and ill-health, it is particularly useful as a talisman for children

Topaz – calms anger and encourages restful sleep

Moonstone – the moonstone can help romantic relationships and decision-making

Tiger’s eye – protects against the pangs of jealousy

Some stones are used for different purposes. For example, quartz whose varieties include rock crystal, amethyst, rauchtopaz and citrine is especially valuable for fortune-telling. The seers can predict the future by reading it on the highly polished crystal balls.

Reminds me of the Death Valley moving rocks:

www.billandcori.com...

It was a challenge to get information on the moving rocks at Death Valley. The reason that they move
along the 10,000 year old dried up clay lake bed is still somewhat of a mystery. Several teams of scientists have taken their shot at explaining the movement, but the actual migration of the rocks has never been witnessed by anyone as far as we know.

Getting to the moving rocks is an adventure in itself. We went to the ranger's station to get information on the trip out there past the crater. An assistant to the rangers argued why we should not go out there - from voiding the car rental agreement to the possibility of rain and mud. We believe that he may not want people to go out there because some people steal or move the rocks and he does not want any more damage to the site.

What?

You guys never had a Pet Rock?

Here's some info on that short-lived craze:

Pet Rocks

Pet Rocks were a 1970s fad conceived by Los Gatos, California advertising executive Gary Dahl. The first Pet Rocks were ordinary gray pebbles bought at a builder's supply store and marketed as if they were live pets. The fad lasted only about six months, ending with the Christmas season in December 1975; but in its short run, the Pet Rock made Dahl a millionaire.

My friend will is in the top row on the very left. He recently graduated from Harvard.

Go to the 5th row from the top. Ernie's the big red one in the middle. He had to deal with a lot of racism, but you see, he's the superintendent of a rock school district now...

This is not an uncommon belief amongst many "new age" believers. While they don't necessarily believe that rocks are alive in any sense as we would identify with, some do believe that they have a consciousness of their/its own. Also, there is also a belief system called animism. It's the belief that matter is alive.

Back when I was in 3rd grade (shortly after the dinosaurs went extinct), I had a science teacher tell us that rocks are "born" deep within the earth and as they "grow" they move upward to the surface where they finally pop out as fully developed rocks. He went on to tell us that rocks had emotions and feelings and some will even bleed if you break them.
My family has done lapidary work since before I was born, so even in 3rd grade I knew the teacher was a wacko.
I do believe that certain energies are associated with certain rocks, but they are far from alive. Not alive as we would consider it, but on a whole different level.

Essentially, that is what most people who believe in "living" rocks believe.

For everything a space of its own. If they weren't intended to be there, they wouldn't be.
