you can really consider bands from the "80's" real heavy metal. that was just a false alarm in musical terms

By the way, 80's thrash, speed, and death metal are all forms of Metal. saying a band from the 80's isn't Metal is bull.

But 80's hair bands are NOT Metal.

That includes bands like Poison.
