Mobile Video

Topic started on 16-7-2006 @ 09:04 AM by Knights

I have recently recieved a video on my phone showing a ghostly figure. I know the location and judging by the type of video, I seriously doubt it had been faked.

What I want to find out is if I could remove sound/ faces from the clip (privacy) and enlarge it? It is in 3gp format and when played on my computer it shows a similar size to my mobile screen.

Any help would be much appreciated.

They moved it to this Forum.

But I don't know that file extension, so I can't help sorry.

Is there any way you can download it to your computer?

If so, what kind of graphics applications do you have?

There might be something available to convert it to a more suitable format.

You should maybe try doing a google search for some video/graphics conversion software. But you'd probably have to check to see if they support that extension, before you download the program. A lot of freeware programs are out there.

Try also www.downloads.com... That is a site specializing in freeware and shareware downloads. Theres also plenty of other similar sites. I've used this one often, no spyware, adware, etc.

Try SUPER.

Is freeware and is the only program I know that can work with all the types I have come across.

Aha! I just went and checked this one out. It accepts your 3gp file format, Knights.

Sound like it's worth a try!

Good call, ArMap!

Right i've got the file in mpg. am searching for some kind of upload space.

Note: The file is seriously lacking in quality and has a watermark over the video as I used a different programme. The ghost is quite hard to make out but I will see how it goes

Especially for you. I noticed it when I posted, thought most members wouldn't mind entering the address manually, but hey.. I guess were not all most members!
