The rules for this game, as based on the excellent rule set suggested by member QuietSoul are as follows:
This will begin with Naval Engagements ONLY and develop as we work the kinks out of the system. Please note, this does include Naval Aircraft
and Coast Defence units.
The attack sequence:
1) Phase 1
Attack phase 1 consists of all players deploying assets within the location in which the battle will occur. This is as requested in my post above.
We will assume that both sides will be properly mobilized. No surprise attacks allowed.
2) Phase 2
After all sides have sucsessfully exchanged positions, the attackee supplies an attack route(s).
A description of Vessel used, equipment used, and attack used must be supplied.
c) Engagement Imagination
This is where the engagement takes place. This process is to be communicated via public posting to this thread.
Every attack must be agreed upon. Players will be required to supply troop deaths, equipment lost, and land gained/lost. If a player contests the
amount of loss, a judge may be asked for review/decision.
During the engagement, players will take the reigns.
They will agree or disagree on troop loss, equipment loss, and land gained. If the players can not agree, they can request a judge who will make the
final decision.
Ancillary Rules
1. This thread is for players only. Other members posts are to be ignored.
2. Time constraints apply. In not supplying the info neccessary in the 24hr window required, that side forfeits their go.
3. Pauses can be requested.
4. All requests to be made by U2U to all Judges.
By virtue of names drawn from a hat, the sequence of play is as follows
1. China (First move is the inciting incident as described by the Judge)
2. US
3. Russia
4. Japan
5. N. Korea
6. S. Korea
NO ENGAGEMENTS FROM OUTSIDE THIS PARTICULAR WARZONE TO BE REFERENCED OR POSTED.

- CNN - It has been reported that up to 4 American and Japanese E-3 AWACS planes were shot down by as yet an unidentified enemy.
Two planes are reported to have been lost over the East China Sea a second over the Yellow sea 400 km off the Chinese coast and a fourth over the Sea
of Japan 200km off the South Korean Coast. Several of the downed AWACS had fighter escorts which all returned safely.
FIle Picture of one of the downed Japanese AWACS planes

The PRC calls this press conference to confirm that these planes were in fact shot down by a Special NAval Brigade using the new
FT-2000 Surface to Air Anti Radiation missile. The missiles were fired from
specially converted fishing boats. The mission was carried out with no losses and our boats have returned safely.
This action was to defend our soveriegn territory from the increasing agressive reconnaissance acts of America and her puppets. This was an act purely
targetting aircraft which were spying on our territory. We further state that we adhere to our no first use policy of nuclear weapons and targetting
of civilians in any way.

Well folks, how have you been getting on without me?
Great job Zaphod, thanks for holding the fort while I have been gone.
Right, down to business.
RUSSIA:
Please do as instructed and post your fleet positions more accurately and neatly. Use the map provided by Westpoint. With similar sized icons, please
position your fleet. If you are unable to do so, inform one of the judges, give them the co-ords and we will do it for you.
We do not need ground forces as yet. Thank you for your effort so far!
JAPAN and NORTH KOREA
Wake up!
SOUTH KOREA
Please indicate on Westpoint's map the positions of your Naval bases and the demarkation of your no-sail zone. Again, if you are unable to do so,
contact a judge.
CHINA
This whole scenario depends on your contribution.
You are up.
You have 24hrs to mark your fleet and asset positions on the big map
