Topic started on 1-6-2005 @ 09:38 PM by Sauron

I had offered a link to a Free Rss Reader, on another thread and had gotten a how to u2, about the using the program. So I hope this helps.
I also added some quotes from members with there links.

An Rss Reader it will make it possible for you to hear the “ATS PODcast” here is one below it is simple to use and is 100% spy- and adware free.

RssReader - free RSS reader is able to display any RSS and Atom news feed (XML)

Free RSS Feed Readers

I use SharpReader. you don't need to have your browser open. It will give you a taskbar popup to announce new content (If you so desire), and it's free. Still there are many other free readers that are just as nice, and of course some low-cost programs that are better.

I am using NewsMac. How do I add an ATS RSS Feed? It wants a URL in order to add a new RSS FEED. All I get is XML, whatever the hell that is.

Copy the URL with the .xml file into the field that it asks.

I use RSSOwl a free open source reader.

I've abandonded SharpReader since Avant Browser integrated a RSS reader into the bowser. It's a freebie as well. Basically it's an overlay for Internet Explorer and I don't think I could ever go back to using regular old IE again.

I use RSS Reader 1.0.88.0. It does what it does in a pretty uncomplicated way. I wish there was a way to move the headline pop-up to different places, though.

it should also be mentioned that if you have ITunes - do the following to subscribe:

Click on "podcasts" on your left menu
Then click "advanced", and "subscribe to podcast"
A box should open - in that box enter:
