i can understand the one lineers in at least bts forems. but keep in mind that the reason that you can loose points is because you get points for your posts. one liners generaly tend to be things like. i agree, i disagree, you suck, ect, they do not normaly contribute much to a conversation or debate.

yes sometimes a point can be made in one line, but more often then not they just don't add anything into what is being said. it can use up space while not adding anything to what is going on. quite often i will be interested in what is going on but have nothing to add of any substanance. i am sure that if you put in a one liner that actualy does contribute something usefull to what is going on that they will take that into account.

on the other hand posting things like "you can't stop me from posting one liners", will not realy help your cause. if anything it may just reinforce the opinion that many includeing the mods have about one liners.

Hooray for one-liners! I usually lose interest in long posts, because I don't want to sit at my computer for that long...

Yeah! Kill the mods! Oh.

Actually one liners on BTS chit chat subjects are fine.

And to the extent they aren't on ATS, just think of the minor point deduction as setting things right.

Do you really think anyone deserves getting points for spamming the boards with "me too" and posts?

People do that stuff to run up points. So docking points seems like the least we can do to curb the nonsense on ATS.

Hmmm, one liners, why are we protesting the warns from them? One liners degrade the board. As we have seen, "me too" and "I agree" don't add anything.

If you want to discuss something, discuss it, use more brain cells then the ones you use when you are doing something easy/stupid like setting things on fire or going to church.

Know why there was a black ban on ATS? Because people stopped contributing to ATS and just started acting like monkey's or something but worse.

A black ban? When was this? And what the heck is a black ban anyway?
