The cult of rave music?

Topic started on 13-12-2004 @ 11:35 AM by Coolbreeze

You've all heard of rave music and you probably love it or hate it. I'm from england and been into rave music since the early ninetys when it was at its peak. Also rave music originated in detroit-usa as detroit techno with arstists like derrick may and has influenced so much artists of today. If you dont know much about rave music, it is a highly rhythmtic and atmospheric music thats been around since the early 80's. But those who are into the music and know all about it, can you tell me what secret society that started this movement and why?

cheers

CB.

You lost me! Why do you think it is related to a secret society?

I don't think any "secret society" is involved in the rave scene. Unless you're talking about the possible "secret societies" that are involved in providing the necessities of a rave.. Drugs that is.

You know it's fine if people are into that trance stuff, but for the love of God don't inflict 45 minute "songs" on normal people trapped in your car.

Only I can do that.

I think you hit the nail on the head with ex being the reason behind this "secret" cult....it's only secret cause it's illegal. i'm from a small town in east tx we used to drive to dallas to this place called fall out and get out tabs....fall out was a rave on industrial....out in the middle of nowhere on the edge of deep ellum....it was almost like the cops knew what was going on...the even did security...but they just made sure no one brought a gun....tuns of people with backpacks that well....lets just say they didn't check it out....lol
