ultra_phoenix in one of you posts in this thread, you mention an Arado bomber and 50 Fw 190 fighters leaving Berlin. This cannot be right for the only bombers Arado made were the Ar 234 which was a rather small two engine jet bomber made at the end of the war (about the same size as the Me 262 fighter) and the Ar 240 a Kampfzerstorer (two engine heavy fighter). Also I am unaware of any Jagd Geschwaders stationed in Berlin at the end of the war. A Fw 200 Condor (D-ASHH) left Berlin going to Barcelona on the night of April 21, 1945 carrying the baggage of the Berlin Headquarters Staff. However it crashed in Bavaria. On the night of May 1, 1945 a Bv 138 landed on a lake near Berlin to ferry out two officers who happened to be carrying Hitler's last will and testament. But the pilot refused to board them because the officers could not produce proper identification and he flew out ten wounded men instead. Also a day light operation of flying 50 aircraft into and out of Berlin would have been quite impossible because the Soviets had almost complete air superiority by that time.

You right Herr Gruppenkommandeur ( at least you didn't write " OberGruppenFührer. ) It wasn't an Ar-234. But I didn't write it was an Arado Ar-234. I just wrote * Arado* Anyway, Arado or not Arado, a plane, escorted by 50 FW-190 ( I think it was the Long Nose version ) left Berlin in May 1945. I *just* have to find the damn link for all of you. I'll do my best, promise.

Well the documentary went along the lines of reading into the actual "accounts" then putting together a plan in order to get hitler out, its alot like DragonRider said...
The main road in berlin ( forgotten the name Potsdam Strasse maybe? ) stretched from outside the chancellery way down for a mile.
The nazi's would take off in a small plane painted to look british and fly to a norwegian fjord where a uboat would be waiting for them, they would then sail the far course round scotland and ireland down to argentina, to a small german community off the coast

Since the birthdate of Hitler was 20 April, 1889 we can pretty well assume he is dead by now (he would be 114 years old by now).

Hitler did escape. The reach of these people would shock most. Put him in normal clothing, shave the 'stach - he's an "everyman".

Look at the Bush family history. You'll learn their ties to the SS and how the SS eventually created the CIA.

God Bless America.

Frankly, I never thought I would ever post in a thread discussing Hitler's possible survival. Nor do I believe he "is" alive, simply because he was born in 1889.
Considering his psychological profile, I also find it highly unlikely that he would have escaped.

And so, I gave it little to no thought... until I happened to stumble upon a photo that actually shocked me.

I would really like to hear experts' opinions on the possibility of this being digitally altered in any way.

If it is, then it's a remarkable job.
If it isn't... then it IS Hitler.
There can be no doubt about it.

Based on facial analysis, I don't think he would have been anywhere near 90 years old (as the caption claims), especially considering his poor health.
But it's also highly unlikely for the man on the picture to be around 55 years old, which was Hitler's age at the end of WW II, no matter how sick he was.

Having said that... anything is possible, I suppose.
I know that some "children soldiers" (teenagers) who met him in person in 1945 could barely recognise him. According to their reports, they thought he was in his seventies. (The last time the German people had seen recent footage of the Fuehrer was before the July 1944 assassination attempt).

I understand the original posters may not be around anymore (the thread was started five years ago), but if anyone else would care to have a good, thorough look at the photo and perhaps discuss it here, I would really appreciate it. (See my post above.)

Where did you find that photo at, when was it supposed to have been taken, and guessing by the way you worded your post, the man in that picture was labeled someone else, Correct?

Sorry for not having replied sooner, Seeker.
(I check this part of the website very rarely, and I usually have to wait a really long time for any replies.)

I took it from a website called www.miscelle.de, but the picture doesn't seem to be available there anymore.
However, you can find it on a website called www.15.ocn.ne.jp - I have to warn you, though, that it would be generally considered a "hate" website.

I am impressed by the fact that you actually took care to read my wording.
Because frankly, I have noticed that people barely read the words anymore - let alone pay attention to the wording.

But no, I must have expressed myself awkwardly.
The man IS labeled as Hitler, beng "90 years" old, supposedly photographed in Argentina.

Thanks for your interest.
I am dumbfounded that so few other people are...
Go figure.
