As far as i'm concerned, incense burning and smoking in public places should be banned. Both involve breathing in disgusting soot as far as i'm
concerned. Smelly. Smelly. Barf. Barf.

hey!!!
there's nothing wrong with incense
i admit there are some crappy scents out there, but incense is awesome, sandalwood especially
as for the smoking...it is pretty much already banned in most places like restuarants and such
if it is such a bother, i suggest you invest in a mask so you won't have anything to complain about, there happens to be lots of other pollutants in
the air other than incense.

A lot of places are scent-free, no perfume, smelly deodorants, etc. So I guess that incense would be in that catagory. Light up at home. Yeah, I love
sandalwood, too.

ummm no, i dont think thats gonna happen ....
not a chance.... people can do whatever they want as long as it doesnt hurt anyone.
If you are afraid of breathing a little "soot" into your lungs then you should live in a bubble.
Which you might for all i know because if you are so worried about "soot" i suggest you take a look at all the stuff in the air, the worlds full of
it. it is reality.
and guess what, second hand smoke doesn't kill. The government lies.

Hey...don't forget Nag Champa..the BEST.
As for your comments about smokers, I think that's rather judgemental, Pancho, don't you ?
I don't smoke anymore but I know that nicotine is an addiction stronger then heroin even. So if you want to blame someone, blame the greedy
governments support of the tobacco industry.
Smokers have to smoke. They have no choice otherwise they face the pain of withdrawal. They HAVE to keep these blood serum nicotine levels topped off
at regular intervals. They've already been driven outside, which is pretty much the last frontier for them, so get off their backs you guys. Have a
little understanding and empathy, please.

Smoke from cigarettes makes me sneeze violently. I have to keep away from places where people are smoking. Incense however I love. Sandalwood and
Frankencence are my favourites. I haven't tried Nag Champa yet but I'll give it a go when I see some.

I picked up a box of Irish peat incense a few years ago. It is the most relaxing, homely smell ever. (That's the UK meaning of 'Homely' rather than
the US one )

Well, the next person that tries to make me butt out outside, I'll try to do it in the UK style, but here you will find that Canucks can get their
asses in the air. Pushed too far, I'll blow smoke in your face before I, offer you crumpets? Not likely, I'll kick your butt.

The next person could be the law enforcement officer. Not my call but in the civilized(western) world, that's where it looks like it's heading.
Have plenty of bail money on hand.

I'd rather smell any incence flavor than stinky tobacco smoke, and if the first one can help cover the nasty smell of the second, well I'm all for
it!

Yes yes yes! I despise incense, especially that vanilla scented crap. It makes me sick. The same goes for excessively strong air fresheners. As for
smoking

Well, alot of the shops that sell rocks/stones burn incense & some ethnic restaurants. I think I understand why some of them do it. It's an old
fashioned way of making sure negative energies from visitors don't contaminate the stones/environment in their shop. It can be bad for business.
Even though I'm annoyed by the smell (it tends to get into my hair) I do find their stuff generally more appealing than a store that doesn't bother
with keeping the vibes clean.
