our fav ATS'ers. Who's posts do you enjoy the most?? And Why??? Who's rebuttals do you enjoy the most and why?? Or avatars, sigs, etc etc. So

I'll start a few for myself:
JohnnyCanuck: Only because we seem to have the same views on just about everything and he's a fellow Canadian. Plus he's a big Danny Williams
supporter, props!
Bombeni: for the exact opposite reason as above, we disagree on everything I think lol. This one always seems to come out of the woodworks and blast
my ideas whenever its possible. Love it!
Slayer69: Probably the highest quality contributor on this site IMO. Everything he says just......usually makes sense. A credit to ATS indeed.

Yeah I will have to go with Slayer69. Can’t get much better posts then that. IMO Bsbray11 is also a really good contributor for the metaphysics
forum. The guy has a lot of knowledge in that stuff.

This is another one for Slayer, I don't always agree, but their comments are, most of the time, well put and you can't get much better then that.
I'm going to spend some time today figuring who else should get a tip o the hat.
Great thread idea. I'm sure it will make someone's day when they log on and see someone thinks they are good contributors.

ATS member recognition
You know, the idea is not without merit or precedent. Hollywood has a walk of fame, so does Broadway.
But here with what is arguably the single most pointed and pissiviteous bunch on the planet, there would almost have to be some political and
ideological divisions created by honoring one person but not the next.
The power of the majority to rule on their majority alone is exactly what is so at question at ATS... or otherwise, there would be no ATS.
In a nutshell, we follow paths here that are outside the mainstream, or majority. So... why should we then fall back upon this system to choose but a
few more worthy than any others?
Your idea has merit and I am not criticizing the concept... but I do think it impracticable in this space.
Cheers

My favourite is DarkCyrus. Why, you ask?
Well because of posts like this...
Everything that a I have "spouted" comes from my inner chalace of life, that is what you are feeling.'
'Its coming now please let it come its hurting. But its ok becuase I love so much I am everything.'
'I am holding my light as long as I can before. Its bursting forth.'
'I hear the angels sing. Im crying. Can we end it soon father.'
...and this...
'CLIMAX riiiiiiiiiiiinggggggggggggggggggg pumppumpumppump flasheshhhhhhhhhhh rest, relax, love, all there is.'
...and this...
'I am the seagull. This hurts. You have everything that I give The more we push, the closer we get. I take it, for you. I must rest again so I can
take in more. Good night. '
...and this...
Now the fun begins, your in the hands of the sun, from the pain you receive I gaurantee you bit your tounge. So you start screaming, IM ONE OF THE
ONLY ONE! Bitch went snitch is the ultimate diss.
...and this...
'The crows are flying and brining me bread, as the seagul flies through the air and blesses all, the crows swoop and do arobadics, the racoon comes
to me at night and mates in my garden, for he knows the truth, god has returned NOW.'
...well I think you get the picture now

I'm not trying to pick any more worthy over any other, there are multiple topics on here, some of which I stay away from, hence there would be
posters on said topic that I may not even have come across.
This is strictly a thank you to the ones who personally make ATS enjoyable for you. Which is why I listed people who disagree with me or that I
disagree with also. You can't have a debate without a rebuttal.

Thanks for the input, I hope the ones listed do see this and on a personal note, I do enjoy a lot of your content, we don't always have the same
opinion but seems we post in a lot of the same threads, keep it up bud!

thanks you too!
I see your posts, sometimes don't know how to respond, but you seem to not post without thinking.
Mainly, that's who I enjoy reading here, those who think before they post, and whether or not i agree, it's usually a good post.

Badgerprints. I love his no-nonsense to-the-point posts that are riddled with common
sense. Something you don't see too much nowadays.
Octotom. Every time I come across a religious thread, I see Octotom beat me to exactly what
I had wanted to say.
Kinglizard. He doesn't post much these days but when I come across his avatar, I have
to stop and read what he has to say.
Skyfloating. I love reading his well researched psychology and ancient civilization
threads. I don't always have something to say in reply but I do read them all.
Fraterormus. I don't often agree with his stance on things but I love reading the
unique and well thought out perspective he brings to a variety of threads on many different subjects.
Argentus. No matter how heated the thread or sensitive the subject, he always keeps his
cool and leaves a well thought-out response that is a pleasure to read.
Bigwhammy. Another one who doesn't come around much anymore but I know him very well and
he is a truly brilliant person. I never read a post of his where I didn't learn something.
There are many, many more but I just love reading the above member's posts in particular.

Some of my favorites no longer post (I've been here awhile), but there are a few newer members I also greatly appreciate.
Agreement is never a requirement for those I like.
Rather than mentioning anyone specific, I'll say this. I tend to like those who post with lots of supporting links, are open to all of the
possibilities, and never have a problem admitting when they are wrong.
Love that combination of qualities.

I wish I had the pleasure of being on this site before John Lear left.....I share a lot of the same views. I hear he made quite an impression, and
stirred things up in here every chance he could...
It must be like a dagger to the heart to lose such a great controversial member..

I find that there is rarely a poster I "dislike".
There are obviously people that post while intoxicated...
But even then, sometimes they are interesting as well.
So yeah, I like everyone.
