thread aborted

I just spend the last hour working on a BTS thread I decided not even to freakin post because it wasn't that important and I kept getting sidetracked and changing what the post was about, and now I'm (colorful metaphor for "violently angry" here) and I'm gonna go chill.
But before I do I must have the satisfaction of clicking the post button.

This is one of the paradoxes right lol

The thread that you aborted doesn’t exist but the thread, about the aborted thread, does exist. Is there anyway, the aborted thread (not this thread) can be resurrected…

Things don’t always work out first time around, by tomorrow you will probably have sorted out in your mind, what the thread should really be about.

There have been many times when I have done the same thing.... I start with one intention and idea for a thread and it gradually turns into something I feel is not worth posting...

It is frustrating because you spent tons of time trying to make it a great post, and when you can't..... Time wasted...

For crying out obscenities, I've done it again. 2 hours down the tubes.

I wouldn't worry many things are aborted but eventually posted across the web

My thread was aborted and I don't really give a except that it cost me a fortune in BTS points.

What the heck good are they anyway ? but still I hate to lose anything that once was mine.

One innocent comparison of a father to a son and (because it was a prominent Conservative Judge recently in the news)...I was accused of being divisive. Divisive!!!

I am not attempting divisive, am not even that political. I was merely making a connection from parental nature to kids and vice versa.
I AM IN FACT preparing groundwork for a thread on child rearing and the unseen hazards of spanking.
But because the far right reptilians that slithered out of Judge Roberts backside and directly to my thread took offense,
Because these snakes (admitted they did not understand what I was trying to say BECAUSE THEY CHOSE TO MAKE A POLITICAL STATEMENT ABOUT LIBERALS in my child rearing thread ...my thread was aborted.

I can live with that but I lost BTS points and (although I don't know what they are for) that is just plain wrong.

I try to calm and stop fights... not start them. I am not pleased but constructive about our political status not IRATE, HATEFUL AND DISMISSIVE of everyone who is in any other political party....like some of the wack jobs here.

My guess is someone on a caffeine road rage trip gets a little discombobulated and then a little trigger happy yanking the posts... Say hello to my little friend.

Jesus says 'love everyone' but damn sometimes they make it hard.

Thanks signals. You are so kind to reply to my therapeutic rant. I bought those lines when I realized what the ATS points could get me. Even after spending on the facelift the new suit and the botox to 4 lines I have 3000 some points left on ATS but now a NEGATIVE 750 in BTS where I think I only had like 30 points or something. Now I try to get there more. How do you get the BTS points? I am not entirely sure how I got the ATS points but once you give me something don't try to take it back!

What action did you receive other than a thread trashing? When threads are moved to the bin, no points are deducted and I don't see any other actions against your account.

If your BTS points are negative, it's most likely because you purchased something from the store, like the subtext under your user name in your mini profile. If you don't select 'ATS' and use the default 'Combined Points,' most points come out of your BTS point tally which results in a negative.

But we don't take away points for a move to the bin. And your thread was only binned because you deleted the OP and title. We can't have blank threads roaming the boards because there is nothing to discuss, hence the binning.

My bad. Now I know better.

I chicken out of threads/posts all the time! I just know i'm gonna say something stupid or not worthwhile, so I delete what I write so many times. Then regret some things I do post.....
