**CONTEST** New Member Art **CONTEST**

Ok all you super talented graphic artists; it’s time to show us what talent you have! We are running a contest to see who can make the best ATS/BTS themed Wallpaper.

Design a wallpaper/desktop image using these categories:

1. Your favorite subject on ATS (Aliens & UFOs, Secret Societies, 2012, Politics, etc) and incorporating the ATS logo into your design.

2. BTS theme (Music, Fantasy/SciFi, Sports, Travel, etc) with BTS logo incorporated into your design.

3. ATSNews theme using an ATSNews topic and incorporating the ATSNews logo.

4. "Behind the scenes" theme for staff and incorporating the ATS logo.

Rules:

You must include the website address (abovetopsecret.com) clearly on all submissions. Ideally in the bottom left corner.

ALL submissions are subject to the ATS Terms & Conditions Of Use (ie no nudity, profanity, drugs, etc).

The pixel size of the Wallpaper is to be min: 800x600 - max: 1440x990

Each member may only enter, at maximum, one wallpaper into each category.

Submitting your entry:
All submissions should be uploaded to the ATS Media Portal and the URL of the image posted on the ENTRY THREAD Please include which category you are entering your work in.

Once all submissions have been posted by the due date, judging will begin.

Judging will be done by a group consisting of members, FSME and staff.

Dates to remember:
All submissions must be posted on the entry thread by: February 15, 2010 (midnight, EST/US)
Winners will be announced on: February 28, 2010

Prizes:
The 1st place winners of each category will receive 15,000 ATS points

2nd and 3rd place will receive 7,500 ATS points

Cool - I might have a go... So long as you guys promise not to laugh - I'm not that good on that sort of thing, could do with the practice.

I remember there was a link to 'blank' or 'clean' ATS logos that people were using for avatars etc.... Can anyone dig that up? There were quite a few, they would be handy.

And I am planning on keeping my entries very "simple" as well. I surely cannot compete with some of the people on here, but will give it a go.

Probably a stupid question but...



If I am doing a wallpaper for BTS, is it OK to have belowtopsecret.com instead of abovetopsecret.com ?? Just don't want to be disqualified for something like this.

I notice that these are png files. Are there any jpg ones floating around? I dont have photoshop or any other software like it so im not sure what to use.

15,000 points !!! Holy cow. how much beer can i buy with that ?? loadss i reckon. ok, im getting my tony haart colouring set out the bottom of the cubboard and the art set my Nan brought me a few xmas ago.

I am working on getting a clean BTS logo (without the blue banner part).
Also, will post a larger cleaner ATS logo.

If anyone needs it......the typeface for "ATS" and "BTS" is called "abduction". Quite fitting eh?
