commuter jet makes emergency landing in Louisville

Topic started on 4-8-2009 @ 06:30 PM by asala

Northwest Airlink commuter jet makes emergency landing in Louisville after hitting turbulence, Its believe some on board are also injured,

It was going from Knoxville to Detroit when the plane encountered turbulence at whats thoughts to be 30,000 ft,

Hopefully those on board are not to badly injured, Will update more as i get it,,

It seems that this is the 2nd plane in 36 hours to have to make a emergancy landing due to turbulence, A jet had to land in Miami only a few days ago where 12 people on board where injured,

So weird.

They have had some very wild weather today that has had almost no MSM coverage. Something like six inches of rain.

I saw the radar loop and it looked like the system got snagged on Louisville and wrapped around a bit. Very strange.
