Well...



I guess I will start things off and say what the company I am working with is using. The servers are mainly for database purposes only.

For the core we are running Intel Quad-Core Processors, for memory we running 8GB of RAM using SSD in RAID1 configuration. For soft we are using both Microsoft Server 2008 Enterprise and Microsoft SQL server 2008.

All of which are Intel based rack servers.
