Lakers Win Riots in L.A.

Basketball fans celebrating the Los Angeles Lakers' first NBA title for 12 years went on the rampage, destroying vehicles, smashing windows and throwing missiles at police.
Twelve people were injured as some of the 10,000 fans who had gathered outside the Staples Centre arena in anticipation of a Lakers' win started rioting.

I don't understand why people have to riot, just because their team wins. They destroy property, throw things at cops and hurt other people. Fires were started and cars were trashed. It was a good game for the Lakers as they dominated the whole way, but gimme a break. Can't they just celebrate? Any other comments?
