Been a while since I've written a poem, but I need to write this down. I've never posted a poem on ATS but have some experience in writing poems.
This came off the top of my head, I created as I wrote this on here.
Here it is.

Life is pain and I can't seem to gain,
Things are real bad and I'm going insane.
Slash my wrists and stab my heart,
I'm more of a looser then thou art.
People beating me down to the ground,
they say I'll amount to nothing.
Just like my abusive dead beat dad,
with all those years of suffering.
And still it goes on and on,
I have little hope in sight.
I feel lost and all alone,
man I'm losing the fight.
Day after day.
Year after year.
Not enough joys,
And way too many tears.
I keep on fighting,
and keep on loosing.
Always being forced,
and never choosing.
Conforming to society,
man it's a mess.
I'm screwed now,
I'm in distress.
Can anyone help me,
I've been calling for it.
But it seems all I get,
is just more bull-*self snip*
They say life is a dream,
I say YEAH RIGHT.
Every day for me,
is just another loosing fight.
I've almost given up,
I'm going down in a burning plane.
But fight on I must,
For me...
Life is Pain.

I have'nt seen mine in almost 3 years!

I haven't talked to him for a loooong time, almost 10 years now.
He'll always give me problems no matter how I try to block it out, I just gotta face it. This poem was about what I'm going through now, not just my
dad, but he does have a connection to how I've been feeling all these years. Thanks for the response GM, you're insight is always welcome my friend.
