I call this one Space Voyage. I was thinking some nice deep space ambient music depicting advanced beings cruising faster then light, looking for places to bring love to, lol.

Toralyn: Enjoyed your "Front Runner". Smooth yet Suspenseful.

Caveman: I see you`ve turned pro. A very liquid dreamscape, which works perfectly for its intended purpose.

Toralyn: "Deep System" is good too, psychedelic even, but I think "Front Runner" is better.

Alxandro: Superb ethno-vibe. Would make a good james-bond background.

Plainview: Nice minimal-electro flow.

If anyone needs some help getting their sounds together, I'd be willing to help.

I have a lot of experience in both analog and digital; audio engineering, multi-track mixing, mastering, sequencing/programming, Synthesis, etc.

I've been a musician my entire life & worked at a high profile professional recording studio when I was younger (I started when I was 14 as a "do this for me", and "take out the trash" gopher, but the experience was priceless.

I used to play in bands when I was younger, and can play Bass & Guitar, but when I got older, I really got sick of dealing with 4-5 other peoples excuses for why the couldn't practice, etc.

So I gave up on playing in bands, and somehow got into the whole electronic dance music genre in the early 90's, and transitioned my career to focus on DJ'ing in New York.

I stuck with it for a long time, and got a few lucky breaks, and eventually went on to playing venues with over 5000+ in attendance, and traveling for performances as well.

A natural progression for artist development in this genre is to start making your own records to play, which is exactly what I started doing.

I've listened to & enjoyed all of the other submissions

As a side note, I became interested in the study of UFOs and alternative propulsion systems through documents that were released by John Lear in the 80's (I wish he wasn't banned from ATS).
I enjoy the NWO threads that are posted here, there are many very intelligent people here on ATS with some very solid theories, but my main interest is in UFO's, Space Exploration, alternate propulsion, & Space Anomalies; however, I am VERY skeptical when inspecting evidence (I consider that a good thing though)

Are you using a program like fruity loops?
I've been thinking of getting it, but seems I need to learn and create in time for this, better be quick.

I'm using a program called Cubase, look it up. I download digital instruments for it, google "VST instruments".. these can be loaded and played if you have a controller. I have this M-Audio piano keyboard but its just a controller, it doesnt play music on its own, its just like a controller with a USB cord.

Simple.

As for crazy effects.. I might export the music or just one of the midi parts (recorded with the keyboard) as a .wav or mp3 and tweak it in a program like Audacity and re-import to Cubase.

Get Cubase, get a 50 dollar keyboard controller, and you can download free VST instruments.

Join in man.

I've been trying to write more stuff... thinking it would be easy to whistle it and record it and play over top of that. We'll see how that goes, busy lately though, but wouldn't mind entering another tune.

Hope you get all that workin, feel free to ask questions and i'll answer with my limited knowledge.

I've always wanted to make music, but never got around to even buying a instrument LMAO.

I'm definetly gonna check these programs out, not just for this ATS comp, but more for a hobbie.

I am pleasantly surprised I enjoy all of the entries so far.

I do not really have the time to learn a music program or instrument so I decided to use my voice as all instruments. I have an old mona sound card and used nuendo for edit. It is quite dreamy and slow, more like a 4am kind of deal - mediumlow.5 vox & fx
