All the swine flu news has gotten me to wondering what the prices for pork products are now. I haven't been to the supermarket lately, but was
thinking I may could get a very good deal on pork if no one else is buying due to the swine flu panic.
So, are you buying pork? why or why not?
EDIT: I don't know if pork products are capable of spreading the disease, it's just the bring together of two words.. pork and flu that makes this
possible.

I rarely eat pork, so no I'm not. But if I were determined to eat pork I would.
Though ribs do sound good.

I'm eating pork Like anything if its cooked properly there is no risk at all to your health,
when meat is cooked to a certain degree it rids the meat of any virus, so if you feel a bit uncertain then just cook it a little longer,
We would be silly to avoid it, there's no harm and the only harm not eating it would do is destroying the food industry, home and abroad.

I had porkchops yesterday.

I had a delicious Pork Shoulder Roast yesterday.
Stuffed with garlic cloves, rubbed with salt, pepper, rosemary.
seared at 450F until browned on the outside.
Turn the oven down to 325F
Then pour one can of applesauce and one can of sauerkraut for the roast to sit in (mix it up in the bottom of the pan). Then you finish cooking at
about 325, covered, until the inside is about 160 degrees.
This is my own personal recipe! Don't be fooled by imitators..LOL

I eat a lot of pork (but only eat liver and bacon raw ), and have been disappointed that there's not been any discounted in the supermarkets as
yet.
Mind you, round here no-one seems the least bit worried about pig cold, and we all know full well you can't get it from eating British pork anyway.
So I guess pork is as popular as ever .....
Had some gammon last night

I still love my bacon and suasage!!
Like a few people have already said has long as you cook it well it should kill pretty much everything!!
