What should I research before I become a Mason? How do I get in? Do I just pop up at a lodge and ask to become one? I called a lodge here in Georgia
and the guy said that I will have to be petitioned in and that I would need to have know someone who is a mason for a year. Is that true? Is there a
way around that where I could just get in?

Ask one to be one, check for a masonic lodge in your area on Google and they'll usually have a contact page.

Actually, it's quite easy...
Bang your head on the ground real hard 4 times...then, look up in the sky and yell, "Thank you goD!!"
After that - you're In!!
Or...you just get a tattoo of the number 33...

find a mason and tell him you are interested in becoming one, it really is pretty simple from what I understand.

I'm not sure if things have changed, but I've been told in the past you either have to save a Mason's life or ask a Mason how to become one on
three separate occasions.

I'm happy and proud to say i just got home about an hour ago from my Entered Apprentice initiation. It really is a beautiful process, not stressful
at all. And although there may have been only approx 20 brothers, all that I met (I think all of them)were the warmest and friendliest people i have
met in ages. Cant wait for the second degree in 30 days.
To the OP, find a lodge locally when the lights are on and stop in, they'll be happy to talk. aor go online and find a local lodge phone number ot[r
the city wide office and they can provide all needed help . I recently learned that a friend since grade school is a member, (25 years), we have
recently got back in touch, so he's know me (ahem,) 30 years as does is father, a 35 year member, so I had 2 good sponsors to vouch for me. So check
with friends.
best of luck!

What is your motivation behind it?
What you hope to accomplish by being one? 2 or 3rd degree doesn't get you anywhere.

I hope you realize what you're doing.
Why anyone would volunteer to be part of a multigenerational system of repression is beyond me.

Gerald Ford who was "only" the 3rd degree...

And who exactly have Masons repressed lately?
(or, for that matter, ever?)

2nd or 3rd degree doesn't get you anywhere.....UNLESS you have extremely close connection to the controlling elite, or be even of a certain
bloodline....

Quick and easy way to become a mason.
Dress up like this.
And don't forget to bring along your,
And there's no chance of being accepted if you don't have on of these.

If you want to be a Mason, you also need to have a thick skin.
There are a lot of idiots out there.
