I was at my friends house watching a movie, ( 28 Days Later) when I heard a noise and went to grab a knife ( Yes, a knife.). The stand was right next
to a window. This is the part that really scared me!
I felt a very strange sensation in my legs. Almost as if adreniline was being pumped into those suckers like a firehose. I had an insane earge to
run like a bat out of Hell. It also felt somewhat like goosebumps. I had to lay down for about a half an hour becasue so much adrenilline was going
through me; I felt as if I pushed my heart up too much I 'd have a heart attack! I don't know if this has anything to do with it but the window I
had to pass was facing the woods. My first thought was my subconscience was litteraly terrified at the idea. And upon going by a window something like
a rabbit or squirrel tripped an alarm, and since I was already scared it would make some sense.
I talked to my friend ( Again.) and he said that since I was watching a move I was in a very alert state, making anything such as spirit or an
energy fluctuation would make my sixth-sene go off.
Then there was this. Remember when I posted about those screeches? Well, then I thought maybe what ever was making those noises looked at me and
tripped a subconscience alarm. Or it meant no harm and saw me grabbing a knife and thought I meant harm and took off. Or it meant harm and saw I
could fight and ran. Who knows?
I'd love to have any and all theories posted.

I think you need to lay off the caffeine when watching horror movies, myself...

Scary movie - As soon as you hear something, the first thing you think is "WTG ZOMBIES". Auto-freak out.
Weird sensation - If you were sitting/laying down, and your adrenaline started up, then blood going to your legs or away from or whatever wouldve made
them feel weird.
Window - Just adds to the "OH NO, THE RAGE" feeling.
Doesnt seem weird/out of place to me.
I probably wouldve done the same thing.
Infact, one time when I was at a friends house, we were watching some moderately terrifying movies, and we heard what sounded like something hitting
his door. So we got handguns and waited.
Over-reaction = THE BEST THING EVER.

Sorry to repeat what everyone else is saying but you really need to stop watching scary movies...
It seems as though you have a problem controlling your own fears,
I would talk to my doc about it, you may need a light medication to help your brain settle down ..
How long has this sort of thing been happening to you?

Yea, that seems sort of freaky. You heard a noice outside, so you grabbed a knife and pressed yourself up to a wall?
You do need to calm down.

"28 days later" was a good movie. I would never live near the woods, anyway maybe the movie made you paranoid, but it could of been something
else.

Haha.
Behind my house is woods, and right outside my window (like I can almost touch it when its full grown) is about 4 acres of corn...
The first night I was here, I didnt sleep..
I still have things around my house and near my window to keep stuff I dont want inside, out.

Pot doesn't cause hallucinations.

Basic fight or flight response. A reaction to fear is kind of the opposite of shock. All your blood almost instantly flows away from your internal
organs to temporarily send lots of oxygen to your head and limbs. That's the feeling you had. Didn't like it? Desensitize! I recommend watching more
scary movies, preferably alone, and in strange places.
Pretty soon, you will find yourself longing and hungry for violence and adrenaline, at which point you will feel a compelling urge to seek out your
local marine recruiter.

Uh yeah, not to be a jerk or anything but I don't think this delves into anything paranormal but as a side note, I can sypathize because wathcing the
movie "The Ring" made me feel the same way although I was aware of what and why so I didn't grab a knife and freak out but I did have trouble
falling asleep that night.
As for what you heard outside, it could have been any sort of animal or it could have been a gust of wind blowing an object by your house. If I hear
something that bothers me, I usually go check it out. That way I know theres nothing there and theres just something relaxing to me about being out
in the night for a few minutes. The darkness surrounding me seems to calm my nerves plus I like walking into the wooded area and taking a leak. I
don't usually take a knife but have thought about it case I have to surgically remove my foot from someone's ass by myself on the off chance I do
catch some poor bastard lurking around but I never have.
Anyways, I'm moving this out of here in a few so I'll give a chance to pick the forum it goes too. Movies or Chitchat? I'm a nice Mod ain't I?

Thanks! .
I think that I'll try it again. Then I will go outside and run around. See how fast I can go. If I do start to freak out and have a sezuire
then I'll have my friend call 911. By the way a car honked outside and it was the part where they had to get gas from the fuel tanker. If it was
something 'Mythical Beast' or what not, I think I would it. Heh heh heh. It was great to have all of yourd answers though.
