I have been participating in several threads and reading several more about the current conflict and I have yet to be see even ONE gory picture that I did not click a link marked "graphic image" to view.

I agree with Gemwolf, you seem to have other motives in stirring all this up.

It always comes to motives...

My motives... How can I expect the rules to adhered to when they do not follow them themselves. "You"are responsible for "your" posts and its contents. They are stressing that at the head of this thread. The ATS website is responsible for the content.

Do a search on ATS for NLP and mind control etc and find out the effect that kind of garbage makes on the human mind. But they've addressed this and it was dealt with so I am now happy.

Great Thread! I Flagged it!('')

It wasn't an ad.
It was just an image posted within a post.

In that case you can use the ALERT button below the specific post, which will alert the staff and we'll review it.

Ok thanks for the info about the alert button.

It's such a long thread, I have no idea what page it's on, so will just leave it be then. Maybe I'm just too sensitive.

Nice avatar of a dog crapping, very tasteful and inoffensive - at least the war photos have a point!

To be honest I thought this site was about the promotion of the truth and if that involves some images that people find disturbing then so be it as long as they are in context, it's not done gratuitously, in a pornographic manner (gorenography) or without adult content warning. I'm sure the 'alien autopsy' videos fit your description of 'gore' yet no complaints were raised then and the threads containing videos and photos of them are still here.

Would it really be that difficult to add those conditions to the T&C so we can continue to deny ignorance honestly and truthfully?

My 2cents on the subject
...yet i have found that one can compromise/self-censor and still hit the message home.

In some cases even more effectively/productively i.e. Israel vs Palestine in Pictures

I can't vouch for any posts to come but at this time now, the current shared/linked images are evidence that pictures (minus the gore) can still speak louder then words and still be on target.

re : common decency- gore pics

i will be brief, my keyboard is broke, so im stuck on "on screen keyboard" atm.

first, how can anyone compare a cartoon silloute of a dog (which an ats mod edited for use here) to a picture of a freshly fried kids corpse?? seriously..

theirs offenive, then theirs dam wrong.

it really really takes alot to make me think "thats wrong" .

heres a video i put on youtube, now, its extreme! but its not video of burnt child corpses.. uk.youtube.com... , the difference being its meant to make you go woooh, but you relise its just dumb, pics of child corpses are posted to genuinly disturb
people, give them nightmares , i dont like negatives

call me old fashioned, but corpses dont need to be showed off, im not denying anything excpt the though that people have to see the blood n guts of war to believe its happening.

(sorry about poor grammer, ill edit this when im at work mon)

Speaking of graphic images, I am seeing avatars that are so repulsive I have put two people on ignore today just so I don't ever have to look at their avatar again. I think some people strive to post the most profane avatar on the site; I don't get it.

P.S. Perfect example above: Do we have to contend with seeing pics of a dog crapping?

Yes, and I was one of those people. I don't get it? My avatar was done by the incredibly talented GreenEyedLeo and depicts an alien santa claus. Are you seeing something I am not? In what skewing of selective vision is this anything but?

I'm not mad, I'm incredibly confused.

While I am all for freedom of expression, and really if someone wants to be identified with a crapping dog, that is their choice. But I do think the following avatar is offencive on several levels.

Is it really necessary to have to see an elderly woman repeatedly kicked in the head?

That's bad really bad. I can't relate that someone would want that associated with their profile. On the other hand, maybe I am getting a needed reality check about the mental health of many.

i think yours is way worse. mine is just a cartoon, yours is real and clearly taken in a way as to look scary.

and like i said, the version you has been edited and vetted by ats mods (they even uploaded it to wherver it is hosted . and fyi, its not craping.. its just crouched over, you addedd the "crapping " part in your head.

yet ANOTHER pointless reply! people used to be able to bring up actual discusion points when trying to argue on ats.

and seriouly, you ignore people for their avatars??? llmao rotfl.

its one thing to moan bout gore, but moaning about a cartoon dog with a hunch back is just really weak, i hope your ot raising a family, or their gonna grow up to be 40 year old virgins as they have been taught to be offended by the slightest litle thing (that fart on the first dates gonna blow any relationhp out the door....pun intended)

btw , are you a devout christian?

You probably can't even see my posts, as you have ignored me... But seriously, how could a person be so judgmental and sensitive to such simple forms of art? I'm at a loss here, as I think someone's avatar has little weight when it comes to their ideals and input.

You know, it is people like you who try to censor our art until it no longer exists.

I'm pretty sure your avatar is a dog that's doing something other than just being "crouched," aka "Dirty" hence the title "Dirty Music." Just my input.

Alien santa is weird, but not any scarier than many other avatars. If you have a problem with it, you can make it so that your browser does not display images. I've personally never been offended by an avatar here (except some that are super distracting flash images, but still not offensive.)

Having a certain avatar is no reason to put someone on ignore, or think anything about them at all, unless it is a personal attack or something.

I didn't say I had put you on ignore but I can manage that now. I put a debauched version of a Santa on ignore, and a pic of a child with a tenticle for a mouth.

IMO we are seeing the product of children who were babysat by personal computers and video games during their entire formative years.
