This is something that I always think about and Ive decided to put it in a thread that all of you..My BTS friends can share.
You are given one day to spend with somebody..So who would it be?..Would it be a relative that has passed on and you want to see one last time, Maybe
say something that you didnt get to say when they were living or would you want to spend the day with a famous actor or maybe a famous poet or writer
or even a world leader that is either living or dead. A famous athlete or rock star..It can anybody you want..This is your day and you can spend it
with anybody you want. Nobody will judge you and this is a NO FLAME ZONE., I ask that nobody makes fun of anybodys post or disagrees with who they
spend their day with. This is something that hits close to home for me.
Remember this is your day and you can ask as many questions as you want!!!!!
Enjoy this post and star and flag if you really like this!!!!!

Non Famous
Alive:
Annie - because she's my bestest buddy ever. No questions need to be asked, we'd just have constant fun!
Dead:
My Nona, and Great Nona - I never knew either of you but would love the family history lesson! Rule Italia!
Famous
Alive:
Johnny Borrell - so, have you changed for the better?!
Dead:
Shakespeare - what was your inspiration to write your works? Do you realise how great they have become?

No dead family members or that's all you'll get...
Living: Christopher Hitchens
I write and Hitchens is a personal hero of mine. Many people here may know him as the writer of "god is not Great", although he's written so many
books I've lost count (read: Letters to a Young Contrarian, if you have a chance). I'd ask him about his literary career mainly, how he developed
such a command over the English language.
Dead: Jesus Christ (?)
I'm an atheist myself but if I could spend a day with anyone I wanted, I'd have to say Jesus; if he was indeed a real person, I don't know that he
was. If so, I'd ask him what really happened, what he did, how he actually felt about the actions carried out in his name, etc. I think that would be
a fascinating conversation.
If Jesus didn't pan out, I'd flip a coin with Khufu on one side and Einstein on the other.

Deceased: My mom. I just need a little more time with her. What I wouldn't give for that.
Living: Um, hmmmm......can't/won't answer.

I'd spend a day with all the pets I have lost.
Just one last cuddle each and a reminder of all the cute little ways that made me love them so much.
Maybe there'd be a chance to ask if I'd done alright by them and a chance to say sorry for the times I must have mis-understood their needs.

I know how you feel..Good post..I remember coming home from FT Bragg, It was my discharge day and my service was up, I was pretty banged up and on
crutches and It was surprise that I was coming home a bit sooner than expected so I got home late and surprised my loved ones and my beloved
Rottweiler Apollo, I spent sometime with him and took a quick nap in my bed and when I awoke he was on the floor in his deep slumber, I was so upset
and he was big about 180 lbs so with a busted leg I went outside dug a nice grave for him and laid him to rest..I miss him and I wish I could have
thanked him for waiting for me to come home to see him one last time.

Bless him for trying so hard for you - he must have loved you very much. Sometimes their gestures are so eloquent they really don't need to be able
to speak to get their point across.

Alive- Mos Def. The guy is a genius and probably a pretty fun person to be around.
Dead- Audrey Hepburn... I know I really wasn't alive for her career, but I have my reasons!

Family that have passed before my time aside, I'll go with John Lennon. (surprised?)
Combine this guy's musical taste, social and political views, with his unappreciated and borderline socially inappropriate sense of humor.. I think
it would make for a great day.

Living: Queen Elizabeth 2-I believe she is just fascinating. Don't think she'd let me scrub her floors though, so as a back up, Pavlo the russian
dog mind controller fella.
Dead: Maximus Primus- the dog who raised me through my darkest years.

Kinda interesting that I felt more 'moved' from you post than the others - even excitables post as I lost my father at a young age...but a father is
supposed to go before his son, just not so quickly IMHO...
And yes, berenike...to find out that we got it right with them while they were around would be quite satisfying as well as enlightening...
