So I am watching CBS nightly news tonite and they have a story on how scientists are going to use some old mammoth hair to reconfigure some elephant
DNA aka jurassic park but actually possible.
I think climate change is real (not because of a carbon foot print:ham  and that we are headed right into an ice age. I didnt post this on ATS cause
im not really here to argue anything I just wanted to say that WOW its going to be EPIC irony when humans master technology enough to bring back a
mammoth just in time for the coming ice age

I would love to see some mammoths tromping around

yeah I hear that I have always wondered why evolutionary advancement would make the elephants gestation period 2 years thats just crazy!
Yeah snuffaluffagus [sic] was my favorite sesame street character, so I am with you on the "it would be cool to have some mammoths around" although
they are probably going to be really hot, the hairless elephants are that way cause they headed for where it was warmer back in the day IMHO.
