Cambodian couple cut home in half

An estranged couple in Cambodia have sawn their house in half to avoid the country's convoluted divorce process.

Moeun Rim and his wife, Nhanh, who have been married nearly 40 years, split the building last week following an argument, local officials said.

I remember years ago hearing about a married couple who were going through a divorce. The husband grabbed a chainsaw and then cut the home in half because half of it was his. I believe he went further and cut the furniture in half too. Anyway, the house was never pulled apart like in this news article. Instead the husband was charged and went to jail. This is now the second time I have heard of a home being cut in half. LOL

I don't think a man cutting their house and all their belongings in half because he didn't think she was entitled to her share in anything is the same as saying "the couple" cut their home i half. No that was just mistreating his wife.
