Yes, you read that correctly.

The new driver from Nvidia enables physx in all Nvidia 8/9 and 200 series videocards.

It will install physix software version 8.09.04

Driver version whql 178.13.

Nvidia Driver version 178.13

You mean the Ageia Physix (SP?) suite or graphics accelerator? If so that would be wonderful, unfortunately I have an old rig and Im running a Nvidia 7600GT 8x AGP!!! ARRG! Give me PCI-E or death! Im always looking for ways to try and wring a couple more frames per second out of this rig, but I cant find much to help it.

It will download a program (I am downloading the driver now-like 50 megs.), but I think the acceleration is using the videocard hardware.

My 8800gt "oc" is replacing a 7900gt, I feel your pain.

Not that I recommend it at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but that said, overclocking/volt modding or special/modified drivers-safest choice-.

I will post my general experience as well as any percieved differences in "hellgate, London", V1.18***********

P.S. Make that 86.5 megs in size.

OK, it seems to have installed.

I see no special indication of any form.

While playing, however, I did notice some more particles durning explosion's and such.

Now, here is a hint, it DOES run on the video-card hardware.

What that means is the card is being pushed harder and will produce more heat.

Keep this in mind as you choose to upgrade or not.

How much extra horsepower does the two Physix cards add to your setup? (vs just the Nvidia card with the new Physix drivers)

I was thinking of getting one but two sounds much better.
