Weird Clouds (new york area 9/15)

I had no other idea where to put this, hopefully I made the right choice.

Did anyone else in or around the NY area notice these weird clouds last night? I tried to get a pic on my phone but I would just get black sky and no detail would show up.

Basically it looked something like this. clouds
But it was night time, and the moon would be shining brightly in the circular area of that pic.

I never saw anything like it in my entire life.... it was pretty trippy. This was probably around 10:00pm. Eventually the clouds changed and it looked like the sky was made of a cracked rocky surface. It looked like the entire sky was like this from my vantage point until it passed over.

I dunno... I was just trying to see if maybe someone else here saw it or happened to get a pic of it.

Nature is freakin' awesome!

Looks like the "Eye Of The Storm". Can't help you out though, looks like a natural formation to me.

That's what I immediately thought too! I was thinking to myself that there was a storm coming or something. I even checked the weather.

I'm sure it was natural too. It was just so cool looking.
