As a very young child, sick with a disease called alopecia universalis, his immune system began attacking all the hair follicles on his body, and
apparently now he is totally hairless, he doesn't even have eyelashes.
His family claims the baseball cap helps keep the glare of the fluorescent lights out of his eyes and helps keep dust out of his eyes.
Even with these "medical" reasons, (along with helping his self esteem), the school still won't let him wear his ballcap.
He was sent home last Thursday, the first day of the new school term.
Dale said: 'I just want to go to school and get no bother.'
A spokesman for the school said its uniform policy does not allow peaked caps or hoodies, but some allowances could be made for medical or religious
reasons.
The school told the family he could wear a beanie, but his family claims it doesn't give him as much protection from the glare and dust.
There are exceptions to every rule, I feel this should be one of them!
