Jesus: "Don't worry about it Matthiew."
Matthiew: "Oh, okay."
Wasn't jesus supposed to have been 'dead' at this point? Plus there is no mention of Matthew even being at the
crucifixion so he would have had a hard job speaking to jesus about this
Secondly, your assuming they had 'half-decomposed bodies". Nowhere in the scripture does it say that, I'd assume they had incorruptible,
glorified, resurrected bodies just like Jesus did.
I've never met a Christian who thought Jesus resurrected them as they were without changing their bodies just like his.
Nowhere in the
scripture does it tell us who these saints were, who saw them, what happened to them, were they naked or did they get dressed up for the occasion. Did
they rebury themselves or just magically disappear? You can assume all you like but there is no scriptural evidence to back up your claim that they
weren't zombie like.

This is all so confusing,
So there were dead people walking (or floating, whatever) around Jerusalem, a town population not many? No one actually sees or hears of these dead
people except Matthew.
In all the confusion I forgot, was Matthew a real person ? Did matthew write any books or is the book attibuted to Matthew penned by author
unknown?
These dead people, allthough they climbed out of their graves were not decomposed? Yet how could anyone know if they were decomposed or not if, as is
alledged no one saw them?
Didnt a similar thing happen with Paul? Was it not the case that he had never met jesus or knew anything about him?
Until that is one day he sees a ghost claiming to be Jesus ?
This christianity is really funking insane looking, they teach this drivel to little children !!!!!
Perhaps the chidlren of christians would develop a faculty of reasoning at a far highere level, if they were to watch John carpenter movies every
Sunday, or visit a spritualist church.

ok heres the deal
Mark wrote his gospel but didnt know jesus or the area around jerusalem and basically made it up out of stories including buddist storys and saying he
changed to bieng jesus
Matthew copied mark (600 of 666 verses) just tided it up then in his version the zombies and sermon on the mount appear
we dont really know who either of the writers were just Mark wasnt ever near jerusalem and matthew copied mark
and yes paul who was said to have written most of the new testament (6 of 13 books attributed to him have been proven fake) never met jesus just saw a
divine ghost jesus who said sort your life out, he then met the disciples but not the ones that wrote the gopels
and dont insult john carpenter films!!! escape from L.A, escape from new york, the thing, the fog, assault on precint 13 (original), christine, big
trouble in little china, ghosts of mars
they may not be great films but they are entertaining ... well you can insult vampires all you want that film was terrible, wasnt even bad enough to
become good

As far as I'm aware it was some unknown as Matthew(the author) never refers to himself(matthew). Confused yet? Plus if it was Matthew why
use Mark(who didn't know jesus) to concoct his story - wasn't he there?
These dead people, allthough they climbed out of their graves were not decomposed? Yet how could anyone know if they were decomposed or not if, as is
alledged no one saw them?
Plus no one knew who these dead people were or what happened after they 'arose'- isn't it great how such a
spectacular miracle such as this has only one line in the bible
Didnt a similar thing happen with Paul? Was it not the case that he had never met jesus or knew anything about him?
Until that is one day he sees a ghost claiming to be Jesus ?
Well we have 3 accounts, 2 from Luke and one from Paul/Saul/Darth Maul himself -
Lukes accounts have the companions hearing the voice but not seeing the light THEN seeing the light but not hearing the voice (confused yet?) and Paul
making no mention of such an event at all (I'm confused.com)
This christianity is really funking insane looking, they teach this drivel to little children !!!!!
Not just children, the scary thing is
adults believe it too
Perhaps the chidlren of christians would develop a faculty of reasoning at a far highere level, if they were to watch John carpenter movies every
Sunday, or visit a spritualist church.
Or even watch Sesame St, instead of listening to religious drivel they might actually learn how to spell and add up.

yepp unkown (later decided to be Matthew)
copied someone who seems to have made a story collection (later deceided to be Mark)
im not confused yet ^_^
i think of it as Mark is the script, Matthew is the finishe film with the fancy sound track and special effects

oo forgot to say as he hadnt been mentioned Luke copies 300 verses from mark or matthew as well (and we dont really know that it was Luke that wrote
that either)
PS Hey noobfun Vampires was better than most blood sucking drivel but you can't beat Halloween.
Lets face it vampire films are terrible by deffinition unless you go way back to the early one, its not one of the worst admittedly but queen of the
damned is worth it just for and only because of the sound track, and lost boys undoughtedly the best vampire film made since the 60's

Link for yoda, this thread seemed to die a death unfortunately. I was dissaponted not to have had a longer discussion on it, especially considering
that Jedi is now classed as a religion.
I would be nice to see this subject being taught in schools as the jedi seem to have a far higher moral standard than the murderous nutcase god of
abraham.
I don't know if i could love Yoda with all my heart and soul but that funking Natalie Portman is ceratinly far more organic than viagra

Hello, First of all Brandon asked me to let you know I am his mother. In your question about Cain. When he was cast from the garden into Nod.
He married a woman a Cannite from there. I think when Satan was cast from Heaven along with his angels that followed him to earth he became the
prince of the earth and I think he created his own people and they lived in the cities outside the garden. Remember, Cain had a mark so no one would
kill him so there had to be other people here besides Adam and Eve. When Adam and Eve were chased from the garden they were cast out into the world
because of their sin. Satan is of this world and his demon angels to prey on man until the time that Christ returns.
As for this being hell I don't think so. I think hell is going to be a terrible place no doubt but the worse part about being in hell is that God
can no longer hear your cries or your pleas for mercy. We will find no way to find peace because we will be forever seperated from the Father.
That's the worse part of hell. That we can no longer reach a loving and forgiving Creator.
I agree the OT is hard to grasp and you kind of need to have a small grasp of the OT to get the meat of the NT. They do go hand in hand together. At
least that is kind of the way I see things.
Shalom,

Hi Grandma ...Hey I very much appreciate your input ..it sounds alot like what I have been thinking myself for quite a few years ..yours is the best
answers so far ....its nice to hear someone else has the same view concerning that particular subject .....I just have a hard time with the God
allowed incest in those days view ..it makes me sick even thinking about that ...
As far as this
{As for this being hell I don't think so. }
I dont believe I have ever said anything like that ..maybe your not talking to me though ..I wasnt sure ..
I agree with you ..this is NOTHING like what hell will be like according to the word ...
I have read through the OT and dug into alot of it ..and I know there is alot in there that I need to digest ..I dont avoid it ..I just try and take
it all slowly ..
A little at a time .I love the word of God ...every single bit of it ...I do skip over the Kings and geneology stuff though ...

According to my experience in Hell, God can hear your prayer. The problem is that the people I met there were kind of withdrawn and had no real
interest in anything outside themselves.

great thread SNO! star and flag, i forgot to say the first time. my son, Enigma
Publius told me that we both think wuite a bit alike on many issues, he recomend i read some of your threads...i should have thought u wouldn't
know who Brandon was. here is a thread i made with his member name before i decided to stay a while and make my own,
This thread is about how my views are like on religion and faith now as a follower of
Christ. in it is a link to my recent near death experience that opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of God and Christ, i would like your
opinion on both threads when you get the chance! Also my Daughter shares simialr views as
well, and she has many interesting threads on religion and faith i'm new here trying to make friends with other believers and skeptics alike, and my
son said you were woth your salt 10 times over on the matter, as he is not even sure what he believes in but says when you relate your views, they
make so much sense and they move him spiritually. talk to you later.
