You got a screen name on here, that idetnifies with the person sitting at the keyboard somewhere on this crazy globe. But through the internet a D Ego evolves. Over time the rest of us learn from and adapt to this Digital Personality, and glimpse more of the person at that desk far away. At least what they choose to show us on here.

Some members' D Egos bond with other D Egos and D Friendships form. And so on and so forth that your screen name sometimes tweaks to show the familiarity and social connections to that person.

So the topic at hand is this... Do you have a nickname that goes with your screen name? Something that is different but still identifies you?

Mine for example is Wukky, which evolved from WUK, which also evolved from What, which is short for of course whatukno.

So do you have a favorite, or a least favorite nickname on ATS/BTS? are you well known by an alternitive Screen Name here?

Or even, what would you prefer us to call you? Is your screen name old, and really you just wish people would call you something else? Hows this for an oppertunity to do so?

My name frequently gets shortened to just AD, and I don't mind at all. What have noticed is that in real life when I'm no where near the computer, I'll see the words Access Denied either together or separate and it immediately grabs my attention as if it were meant for me. A huge part of me has evolved into my username.

When I signed up for an account I said to my self now then what name should I use?

I like anx, but I do get referred to as AD just like AccessDenied.
I think she owns that one and would prefer either lower case ad or just anx to avoid any confusion.

A few times I've read a comment thinking it was directed to me when it was really for her.
Though it's kinda nice to have two AD's on the boards.
