Shareware downloading speeds

Topic started on 4-9-2008 @ 09:09 AM by spaceweasle7

before i begin, i know that ats is not for questions like these, but i figured this once wont hurt.

I have a "friend" that says he can download a 700mb+ sized video file off a file sharing program in less than fifteen minutes. does this sound plausable? i have never heard of such fast downloading speeds, but i'm not 100% certain i am right. so is he correct, or lying

It depends on your internet speed the speed of the server you are downloading from, time of day or night etc.

It is possible, use FreeDownloadManager Program. This downloads 5 parts at the same time an helps double your speed. It's like multiple file transfer but the same file.

In todays world, therea are internet connection speeds from 1.5 meg to "10" meg.

This creates download speeds from 160K-800K

Assuming the server is capable of the high upload speeds, it is very possible.
