The question today is:
What do you guys consider the best video game theme tune of all time.
For me, it absolutely has to be

'Snake Eater' from Metal Gear Solid 3, though the themes from all the metal gear games are utterly awesome.

Mgs soundtrack in general is epic, i managed to pick up all 4 of them on ebay
All though the orginal title "metal gear sold 2 theme tune" is the best

i think the band was called "Bomb the bass", if memory serves

Hmm... Final Fantasy 7's victory music is still stuck in my head and I haven't played it in years.

Or this tune from the Nintendo days for a game that was a breakout knockoff. I can't remember the name.

The basic games with the best music, is Zelda, MGS and FF.

Damn good music in them.

I guess that really depends on what game captivated you the most. I'm going to have to go back to the snes days and go with Secret of Mana.

By far the best MMORPG of all time, however it is not the same these days and dying fast.

WoW had a good sound track. But for me be a huge Star Wars fan, I got to say that Galaxy had the best music. John Williams

Without any shadow of a doubt One Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII. It set the mood perfectly for the long awaited fight with Sephiroth. When I heard the fully orchestrated version that was released after the game... well.. I nearly crapped myself.

Either and all are great phoenix. There was the orchestrated soundtrack that came out shortly after VII was released that has the best version IMO. Good stuff nonetheless.

I hope FF13 can bring music and story like FF7.

Yes, that is a good one. The music in MGS 2 and 3 is good, but for me, I personally like the Halo music best. Particularly the main theme music you get at the end bits of the first game and the third, when you're on the driving part. But until I found that music, MGS was the best music IMO.

Another Konami game, Zone of the Enders had some pretty good music as well.

As someone has said, the 'Hell March' of Red Alert is probably one of the best RTS music out there.
