I'm looking to compile a playlist on my Ipod strictly for workouts at the gym.
I personally like funky fast-paced beats or hard rock.
You know those tunes that get your adrenaline pumping and energy going ? Yeah those lemme see watcha workin with
Apologies if there is already a thread on this, I want the latest as well as the greatest

I generally work out to any music thats fast paced, hardcore, and gets you pumped up.
Like Rage against the Machine, DMX, NWA, Guns n roses, AC/DC, ect ect.

Olivia Newton John - Physical
Ok, no I'm not serious, but it is a real funny video though.
Me workout? I haven't worked out in many years and my 41 year old body is starting to remind me of this fact.
But, hey at least I ride my bike to get doughnuts every morning. That's a start right?

Ok the song that gets me the most pumped is
I Just Wanna Start a Circle Pit by Against All Authority.
If you can find their music. But I listen to that song and I just wanna start jumping around and going crazy.

Wonderful replies and suggestions folks am lovin all of it! I need to sort through and find what will work best with what I am doing - lotsa
cardio, some weights and me and my girl love to hit the racquetball court (no Ipod required) but I am having so much fun there and am glad I been
going regularly
I think AD knows what I like though, that kinda beat to "Low" is what will get me movin real good
Not a fan of those girl bands tho but I love everything else
I really appreciate everyone's responses
At the moment I am exploring new albums friends have sent me so the listings here have helped a lot
There are a few tracks on the Ironman soundtrack I have been uppin the ante to
Cheers!

It all depends on my mood.
A bit of upbeat stuff like AC/DC, a lot of more material like Bedouin Soundclash. If I'm into a mood where I want to hear good lyrical content I'll
go with some solo Lennon songs or the Beatles. I've even gone a week with nothing but Eric Clapton.
I find that I need something where the lyrics inspire me, not just a heavy hitting song.
A slow song that means something gets me energized a lot more than some random that just moves quick.

Nothing gets you pumped like metal
Pantera and Slayer are my favorite bands to works out to.
Some Black Label Society and some Metallica thrown in the mix is also great.
System of a Down has some good songs to work out to as well.
