What if you were related to a minority other than your kind?

I dont know I am not racist or nothing but if i was related to any other race than my own I would be offended.

You state you're not a racist, but then in the same breath you say you'd be offended being related to someone different than yourself.

My family is predominantly English and northern European.
I have one brother married to a wonderful woman from the Philippines and they have two of the most beautiful children I know.
Another family member is married to a west coast Native American, a cousin is married to someone of African decent. We have several adopted children in the family, oh Hell I could go on, but family gatherings look like a meeting of the United Nations.

Everyone is considered equal and loved in our family. We celebrate the diversity and cultural influence each person has brought to our lives.
Some of the children even speak 3 and 4 languages fluently.

In case you haven't noticed, we all belong to the Human Race.

I have many people in my family from all sorts of races.

This does not offend me nor do I care. Humans are humans, it's as simple as that. The day that everyone realizes that we are all human that is the day that all racism will end.

I myself don't really have any minority in me. I am proud of my Norwegian heritage but if I did find some I guarantee I would be just as proud

Thats exactly what I was going to say. IF you are American it is hard to say what your own kind is anyway.
