what do you think are the most popular type of games sports???

thug games like grand theft auto???? Or horror like man hunt??

or fanatsy.


Just would like to hear what you guys think gamers mostly look for in a game console.

All I can say there are rumors of a new game company that maybe true or not but might be creating a new game console true HD console with a game console that can last 20 or more years.

This may be true or not but rumors are starting.

What do you guys think of this??


if their is a new game company coming out and joining in the game console market do you think they will last or be eaten by sony and micrsoft??

would like to hear what your thoughts are on about this.

I am kinda getting excited to see if a new company comes afloat and no it's not that one that wanted to make the phantom game console.

This company is totally new out of the box type new.

My thoughts I think is that action and horror are best game winners.

like grand theft auto type games and war games with horror gory games I think makes the top charts.

Were are these rumours coming from, any links or source.

If it's better than PS3 and 360 then good on them I may get one, but there are so many consoles that fail.

Ive never heard of this mystery system untill now.

Would love to see some more info if there is any, rumors or not.

If we are just speculating, then yea. A system that would last 20 years would be cool. But, is it logical? I mean, with our pc's, they are out of date when you get them home. Whats to stop this new system from not suffering from upgrade problems too?

Ok this just seems like bull, I still have my Original PlayStation working fine from 1992 but that doesn't mean they are making games for any more.

They profit from making people believe they want and need the latest and greatest technology. Marketing is all ego based and when they can keep the mass public insecure in themselves and needing to meet the Jones than they won the marketing war and strategy.

well there is no sources at this point. I heard it on my local news which they say it's rumor not sure if it's a go. Some company in my area meaning in Michigan is going to join in.

The stuff I hear that yes it's possible to last 20 years there is more technical stuff to it they won't disclose but they said they will blow our socks of.

The guy said new techonolgy called virtuial system microsoft is stop making windows they are now making an os that is a virtuial system.

the rumore is the owner company has said that there is new tech coming where hardware is nothng but software so you can reprogramm the hardware to change the hardware if that makes any sence.

I am a gamer myself and tried looking on cnn and other big places like IGN seeing if there is anything about this rumor.


it's all rumor at this point but heard that in 2 to 3 years we will find out if the rumors are true.

I mean did you guys hear of the phantom console which like failed but it did make it to E3 but I so far haven't seen it in stores or even heard any updates on that.

The stuff I said about the console is just right from my local news however there is no focus on this news. It was just a 10 min talk about this rumor on our local news and that was it.

I just would like to know what you guys think of this?? If a new company comes up and cna produce a outstanding console would you buy it or would you stick with microsoft and sony???

I would be excited to see a new company coming in to the game arena lol.

Don't get mad at me if nothing does happen it's just rumors at this point and I can't say for sure that this will happen but just thought sharing it since I don't see it on any IGN or popular game news ect.

ok I told you guys about windows being at it's end meaning vista is that last part of the windows era.

Microsoft is working currently on another OS it's more towars virtuialization and some new tech which I can't find them explaining.

This new tech is supposed to be in that new companies game console as rumored.

I think we'll see consoles and even gaming PC's "die" for want of a better expression, over the next 5 to 10 years. With Internet bandwidth getting faster and faster we'll see cloud computing taking over the role of the user end hardware.

Instead of having a box in your house with a bunch of expensive high end gaming hardware in it, we'll have systems that will link to a network of machines that do all the rendering for us.

We will be able to access photo realistic virtual worlds from our system of choice, be it an old cheap Laptop, a mobile phone, or a set top box similar to the cheap digital TV receivers we have at the moment.

The business model will work on a subscription basis much like we see with World of Warcraft and Xbox Live at the moment.

I want new technology. You know something like tv goggles that wrap around your head, so you basically see the tv so close that everything you see is the game, no square screen, but full imersion, you see the things in the corner of your eye etc, you know really bring you into the game.

I want the start of virtual reality to begin.

I mean virtual reality has been in the imagination of people for decades, it's time to make that come true already

Nice thoughts. I would love to see where we go in the future of gaming.

I mean can you imagine nintendo right now how the graphics were poor and compare it to where we are at.

I usally am surprised on the games today. The only think I really didn't like was gamplay with xbox the orginal I don't know about xbox 360 but they should also balance graphics with gamplay.

Ya virtuial reality that would be sweet.

I have no new news on this new company game console. So I will just keep my eyes and ears open if anything else develops in 2 to 3 years.

They are rumored to come out by 2010.

Also my local news channel had a segment on this last night with that xbox and also this new company in my area that it getting ready to relases a console by 2010 or late 2009.

The guy was back on. He told the reporter that the game consoles now can have updates like computers.

The games cd would be able to have code that will add on to graphics ect.

He also claims the console will last about 20 years because the way the design it. The console is enclosed and uses a mini air conditioning system to cool the console. He will make some more statements by mid of 2009.

He also said they are shooting for a goal of 600 games on the shelves on the first day the console is released in the U.S

So this is kinda exciting.

This company really think they are making a game console that could last for 20 years.

I just love seeing new companies coming into play but I hope this one dosne't turn out like that phantom console.

I was excited about phantom console until it never showed in the market.

I now am hearing a new company is going to release a new game console kinda gets me excited to see what they have to bring to the table.

Looks like the next game console fight will be a good one.
