I was thinking today about my camping trip last week to our favorite state park. My sister and I, each with our own campers, take our (combined) four
kids every year right before school starts. It always coincides with the beginning of the perseid meteor shower, it's the highlight of our trip. The
'dads' think that we take the opportunity to get away and get them kind of back on schedule, early bed, blah blah...but we really keep them up half
the night star gazing and meteor hunting.
It doesn't get any better than that! Laying under a stunning sky with the kids we love, watching the meteors fall and the satellites dance and flare.
And the milky way is amazing. The kids talk about it all year long until the next mom/kid trip.
Anyway, if someone were to ask me what I would rather be doing right now, this very minute, well, that would be it.
What about you? No matter how 'far out there' it is, what would you rather be doing right now?

Well it's not "out there", but I'd rather be playing tennis right now.
It's my favorite sport and I need to practice and play as many competitive matches and tournaments as possible to get into a good division in
college!
Not only that, but it's just a really fun sport.

I love tennis and actually got to play quite a bit on our trip. We had perfect weather and no humidity which made playing all the better. Good luck
and I hope you get to play soon.

If only I could sleep.. I'd surely sleep deep..
But I just can't, so I surf, randomly log and off here and there.
If it would be daytime with thw sunshine out, I'd be sitting in the park watching people go by..

Hey Lord. I agree that it's just not right for people who want to work to have such a hard time getting the work and your a young guy, it's never
too late to get back to school. Put down that mirror and go pick up some books! But seriously...go for it.

Good weather is always a good thing then playing tennis!
And I've been playing during the summer a whole lot. Most of the weeks, I've played for 2 1/2 hours each day. I just played today actually and have
tennis camp (couple hours) next week. I'm not complaining I'm not playing tennis, just that it's extremely fun!!
I'M NOT OBSESSED! :-D

If I were to go to Vegas, it wouldn't be for the casinos or the shows.
I got a date in the desert, with a case of beer, and a night under the stars.
