Hi, I am a programmer, I am currently starting a website soon, still working on the website.

I already done all php code and made the base system of the website.

I just have to use _javascript and also make a Design look for my website.

So right now I am using gimp to design my website.

I was suggested to use dream weaver but don't see why that would help.

I am stuck on the design look of the website.

I know that the look has to look frosty and evilish/dark.

I know how to make ice but having trouble trying to make realistic ice.

I want my buttons look like ice but has the text frozen inside the ice button.


Is there any website that can help me learn a good techneak on making a button look like true ice meaning clear but yet you still can see that something is there would look chunky like ice.

I also would want to create real looking snow or at least make the ice have smoke coming out of it or somthing.

I am having a hard time to design the website.


Is there any way where I can also make the website adjust to the clients display resolution???

I want the website to adjust to the screens resolution.

off the top of my head....i would probably take actual pics of ice and make transparent png's from them and slice them up

wouldn't it look odd to have a picture of ice and then blend it with text??

thanks I will take a look at those. I already been brainstorming, and also praticing my artwork trying to make a realistic looking ice text.

I now was able to create a textured text that looks just like ice so no just got to just figure out the layout which I do have an idea and plan to test/skecth out my idea before getting into the hard work of making the website.
