I dont see why their arent computers that dont download when you dont want to download even by mistakenly clicking something that is a download thing. I dont know why their isnt a screen function that we can use to see if something unclicked is bad before hand that alsos tells exactly what will happen if you click whatever it is. I dont see why they dont make computers that wont let anyone create a virus, trogan, worm, or malware to begin with to snip the problem at the root before it grows or gets released or sent out however.

Whatever the basics are in the beginning of making a virus I'm sure they start off the same. If this is the case, then the problem can be snipped at the butt by computers online or offline.

Because I was fired... if you want to know.

I developed a twin hard drive -- a read only boot drive that contains the operating system. instead of using ABCDEFG etc...
my idea used 0C 1C ... c is boot .... d is data and so on...
in the lab we could not infect the machine.... a few weeks later
we got a contract for the XBOX, and that was the end of that...

so blame GATES...

I hate virus's i just got 2/3 of my computers infected by the Vundo virus. Which is incredibly annoying and hard to get rid of. I've tried steps on the McAfee site probably...for a week straight. I don't know how many times i've had to do it to both and still i have it.

But i think that if virus's were cancelled out, it'd be harder to crash your computer or anything major which would require a replacement computer. A simple virus is reason enough for someone who isn't too good with computers to just go out and get a brand new one. It's just another bad thing that makes rich people richer

Oh, you playing the FART GAME.... who smelt it dealt it...
really, some of these bugs, I just have to break open and
take a look.... what I see is beautiful.... the work of a real
pro programmer, I would judge most of the bugs I break open
works of Art... real masters demand real wages, say 250K a yr.
now ask yourself, would you develop a virus and run the risk
of getting caught,
*Melissa (stripper in Miami) virus, was a stroke of genus it
did what no other virus before it did... it auto emailed and
was around the world with a few mouse clicks.... that bug
was designed by Johnny in his bedroom.... it was junk code.
full of go to and this and that... real junk... Johnny was picked up
by the FBI in what 4 hours after its release and he wasn't paid
to program, these bugs that are taking people down are good ones
compiled with excellent programming skills... such code commands top wages and top scientific knowledge... so, these bugs are more than likely
profit machines... now ask yourself who profits...? when you get a bug?
and now ask yourself why are the same sights on the same servers year after year after year... and the FBI doesn't do a thing...?
My Guess is they are part of an intelligence gathering system. especially computers with 2 gigabytes of Ram.... so your computer will stay infected longer providing them with more data... that's the story behind 2 gigs ram.
Now if you search out PORN well almost every site is a virus and that be on Google search... so you tell me what is going on...?

Use Opera or Firefox and I guarrantee that if you browse with common sence you will NOT get a single virus.

What are you talking about?

2 gigabytes of RAM is used by people who NEED it... nearly ALL my applications use 1gb+ of physical memory. That's the story behind 2gb of RAM.

img253.imageshack.us...

NOT having 2gb of RAM is not going to make your computer any more secure. Why? Well if you run out of physical memory then it goes into the PAGE FILE, thus it's STILL loaded. Perhaps using the pagefile you'll have some more harddisk usage... but that's it.

Negatory. Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer. Doesn't matter which one you use. The only thing you have to watch is the files you download. Make sure they are from a trusted source or else there could be a virus embedded in it.

I got that vudo virus crap too. It changed all sorts of things. Hid my C: on me. Changed my date and time to read "VIRUS ALERT" Not to mention a load of other things.

I had to format my drive.

As careful as a person can be they will still catch a virus.

What I recommend is a good anti-virus software.
