Keep in mind I am asking this for "my friend" -- lol. She is computer-challenged, has never added an avatar and doesn't even really understand the instructions for doing so. What if your "friend" wanted to use a picture which had been emailed to her for her avatar? How would she do this? My friend thanks you in advance.

Upload the picture to something like Photobucket then copy and paste the link into the "Avatar URL" spot in her Member Center.

You could also tell your friend to have a look at my thread which shows you a pic by pic guide

Wowee, thanks guys I mean my friend said thanks guys. My niece is emailing a picture of my dog Gizmo. He is a chihuahua that my son found tied to a stoplight a couple months ago. They had put a rubber band around his neck and tied a couple trash bags together to hold him to the pole. The vet said he is about 15 but he sure is a spry little guy. He doesn't have any teeth and his tongue hangs completely out the side of his mouth, I hope that shows up in the picture she is emailing me.
