Marathon

Does anyone still play this wonderful game? It is a Bungie game an is many ways was the precursor to halo. It was one of the first games to use the double weapon (like 2 pistols at once) and one of the first to incorporate side-stepping, too.

I have not played it, but I am intrigued? Is there some plot or anything? What system is it on. Oh well, I should probably look it up myself. I may enjoy it, I've been searching for something to play.

It was for Macs in the 90s, which is why not many people know about it. My summercamp had a scheduled time to go use the computers each day and we'd all fight over the 5 or so networked computers that had Marathon.

Look it up on Wikipedia to get a good idea what it's about. It's fun as hell and brings back alot of memories for me.

Alot of thought went into that game and it has so many features that took other game companies up till now to incorporate into gameplay.
