I wanna go too.

Wow what a dream vacation that would be. But hefty price alone with it.

I don't think they will be crying for passengers either.

For it to be called a "mothership" does that mean other ship will leave and land on it???
I don't think so... Its just a big shuttle.

Thanks for posting. Nothing secret about it though - been watching since spaceship one.

I'll be going eventually.

Pretty impressive craft.

Should be interesting to see how they do on her maiden flight.

Here's a refresher of the first x-prize flight

There used to be a commercial video on the Virgin Galactic site, but I see they've removed it.

Sir Richard Branson's space company Monday trotted out the mothership aircraft that will launch a still-to-be-built spaceship out of the atmosphere.

still-to-be-built

I doubt they will make this happen. We can already go for a ride to the edge of space in a mig in Russia for a few thousand.
But where are they going to go when they get into space?
I just don't think its that simple to build some primitive aircraft and think you can fly around in space.
Think of all the trouble the Russians and Nasa go to just to go a little outside the earths atmosphere.I don't think 200k each is gonna cover the cost of a space shuttle.

It's already been done, they're just making a commercial version now. Look at the videos yourself at the Scaled Composites site.
