Ok, for what it's worth...here is my two bits.
First I must say, that there IS no straight answer to this question, in my opinion. It is too generalized to be winnable for either side. Now,
if you broke it down further, such as, which do you prefer, sex with someone who sucks in bed, vs. porn with (insert some oddity that would make MOST
anyone very NOT turned on), then one could pick. You know, the whole, "would you rather....or..." game.
I hope I don't offend anyone here, and I am sure eventually I will, but that is never my intention. I see tons of threads on ATS/BTS that I
would love to get in on, but I don't feel like I have anything constructive to say, or in the words of a hero of mine, there is nothing I can say,
that I haven't thought before.
I am under the assumption that I can speak rather blunt and truthful, while yet remaining tactful, and not break any international treaties.
So, here goes.
First, I'm going to be critical of me real fast, so you know kinda where this is coming from. I'm 6ft tall, 170 lbs, I am not a supermodel,
I'm just a regular guy. (who usually has a 2 day old scruffy face) I am sure I have seen my better days, I am 28, my hair doesn't grow long so
easy, and I have changed my ways about a lot of things since the "good old days" of chasing the ladies. (I'm not saying I'm not interested in
women, but I CERTAINLY don't chase anymore.) No more making sure I'm dressed to kill, no more waxing my vehicle twice a week, and frankly, if a
woman doesn't like me when she meets me in my (insert whatever band shirt I have on, usually Zep/Nirvana/Floyd/etc) t-shirt, well.....she doesn't
need me and I don't need her anywho. Saves us both some time that way....and possibly saves some hassle as well.
That said...
I've had a lot of sex. I'm not bragging. I had a job when I was 16, I went to the USMC at 18, I was married almost 4 years. Like I said, I've
had a lot of sex. I figure, most people have.
OK, theres sex. Then, there is sex with someone who really DOES turn you on, I mean, not just the thought of sex, guys, but HER.....something in the
way, she moves?
Then, there is sex, that is bad. Outright awful, "why did I even bother?" sex. Yep, you know guys, the ones that you laid it
on a little too thick with, that you'd rather die than wake up beside in the morning, but oh well, done deed...time to sleep....3.2.1.out.
(Ladies, I will assume that some of you have had those feelings before, but I don't expect anyone to admit anything.
)
And this will bring me to my link to porn. (Girls, take note. This is where you will find reasons to call me names, more than likely.)
There is NOTHING in this world, like having a woman, who #1, you can communicate with on many levels. To me, if that isn't there, I might as well
get paid by the hour for the sex, because it's just work, anymore.
But, a woman like that, who is comfy with herself, hell, even who likes herself and thinks she is sexy, that isn't the least bit conceited outside
the bedroom, but knows how to drive you wild without putting a hand on you, oh man...... Come on guys, admit it....those of you who have had those
g/f's / beneficial friends / whatever, that you come home, to find dressed up as sexy as imaginable..... you KNOW, those are the times, that, if
you are anything like me, resonate in your mind, whenever you REALLY think, "what would make me HORNY...oh YEA, I remember.....damn..."
Now, to focus on the porn deal.
I dunno about EVERYONE, but I see porn as a tool for different purposes. I DO believe that ppl get addicted to it, but I think some people can get
addicted to anything. Here's the deal though. Guys, does just ANY old porn do it for ya? I mean, be real with yourself, at least. Do you grab,
whatever? Or does everyone have certain things, that REALLY turn them on? (Ladies, same thing for you? I dunno.)
Porn, replaces GRATIFYING SEX, and gives you control.
