the cards and ads were kinda intersting, but the playground art...

I guess crummy art isn't exclusive to the usa...it's now international...

I've found, in my travels to understand, that "art" is also used as a tool to twist the mind.

No one is immune from being force-fed visual trash, because the enemy is in power and has control.

We can only point it out, to those who are interested in our opinions on it, everyone else...won't care! :-)

well, that may be weird to you...and it is,

but to me, I see the enemy priming the pump. [ pacifying thru familiarization ]

by that I mean, they want us to get used to ODD looking things!

because, as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be just before He arrives.

We're going to be seeing the nephilim! and altho I've never seen one, I've seen pix of the "aliens [really fallen angels/demons ]

and I read some reports of demons and the nephilim being in Israel, for about 15 years or so.

we'll be getting a host of oddball looking thing before too long.

Very bizarre playground art indeed, I can understand the dragons and stuff but the Crocodile with forks in it's back, it seems these days you can construct a poorly built wall from wood & then proceed to throw your own faeces on it and someone will call it art & likely pay you $1million to host it in some empty feeling art gallery. It's a shame that art has to be shocking these days and not just a nice picture of a beautiful landscape.

As for vintage ads/art I've always enjoyed the old WW2 propaganda posters, some were quite humorous but it seems alot of the paranoia is still around today just in a different form

I think that was part of a museum outdoor piece.
If you read the accompanying paragraphs, they are REALLY funny.

It's so true!
I knew a guy in the 90's and he would just glue 'trash' to a canvas and make $$$

Oh there's more weird & wacky propaganda from the 40's

And I think this is where George Lucas got the idea for what Dath Vader was going to look like

Despite being such a harsh time it was a good era for art I think!

I've been having a blast with the Retro future section. I've been a fan of the SF (both reading and the art) for ages and I haven't seen these. Thank you!

Hey! Check this out! Look about halfway down the page in this showing of Soviet SF Artwork. Look familiar?Half way down

I would dearly love to read whatever story that came from.
