I canceled my satellite subscription because I couldn't afford it after I lost my job. I now use a powered antenna, the "rabbit ears." You know
what, I don't miss it. I still get CTV, Global and CBC.
CTV and Global carry most of the best shows from the US networks, plus local news. CBC has Hockey Night in Canada and the Olympics, and of course
national news.
Everything else I get via internet, but I find myself reading way more than I used to.

Comte, I'm in Ontario too. I have basic Cogeco cable service..(70 channels)
However, when analog switches to digital..not sure what I'll do yet. I'm already paying way too much, but here in the winter time when it's -30,
the kids can't play outside. I have all the educational channels I need for them. All I watch is CSI, and the odd movie on SPACE.
Heck if TV is rotting my brain..how come I analyze DNA samples in my sleep?
Why give it another year and I'll be a crime scene investigator myself! (In my own mind)
