The whole writing staff then moved over to Frasier. I heard Frasier (going off the air this year) is one of the longest running characters on TV.
If you watch him in Cheers notice he has no brother and his father is dead. Both explained as "lies" when Frasier starts.
In the later episodes play the Kirstie Alley coke/no coke game. When she's 300 pounds = no coke. When she's skinny = coke. She stayed high some
seasons.
