The X-Files: Movie #2

I wasnt sure where to post this under, but I read on imdb that the movie is coming out July 25. Just a heads up to any fans out there..Im looking forward to it.

Being , thats the correct title.

But yea Im stoked. Cant wait for it. Batman, then X files on consecutive weeks, I love it.

Yea I made thread about it when I first heard back in March,it was moved to the movies forum in BTS.I've been waiting forever for this to come out,ever since the series concluded in 2002 as I'm sure all of the shows fans have.I personally can't wait to see Mulder and Scully go at it again!The trailer looks good,I only hope the rumors of it being a 'stand alone' installment(as in no aliens or government conspiracy) are false,I think it would be a major mistake and flop if it is a 'monster of the week' type movie................I can't wait either way though!!

I realize that, thank you. Since that title already exists on here, I think I'll keep it as is.

Their better be aliens in the movie!!!! LOL.... Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the "I Want to Believe " line in the X -Files always in reference to Aliens?

Here is the latest trailer for the movie. I saw it, (the trailer) at the theater last weekend. Hope it's better than the first one. I was disappointed with the first big-screen adaptation. This one looks good... so here's hoping.

There is an idea thats been known for some time now that this is more "Monster of the week" type of thing.
The usual x-files quote is "The Truth is out there", but it says "I want to believe" on the poster thats in Mulders office.

I also hope there are aliens in the film but if not, I hope it's something Plausable enough to actually be able to exist.

A lot of rumors are saying it will be a werewolf,but I don't know how credible those are.I for one insist on it continuing the alien conspiracy saga,I always thought they should make 3 movies,with the set in 2012(the date the show had for 'final colonization'.I do know Scully's son William will be in this movie,so maybe thats a clue to if it is about the alien conspiracy or not.We'll all find out soon enough anyways.

They have done a Werewolf episode, so I hope to see something more.

The alien conspiricy supposed ended with Mulder and the Smoking Man in a cave in the desert. I would like to see more on the Aliens but I think they decided to completely end that storyline.

I just hope they make a good movie that would make sense in real life.

As a Premium X files fan I hope it's gonna be at least as good as the first one.
The trailer doesn't look that interesting, but i'll be among he firsts in France to see it.

Anyone think that the plot could be related to Project Bluebeam? Fits in with the "I want to believe" line, but I forget if the trailer fit this or not.
