This is kind of interesting.

Here is the last post from the last game thread from downintheupside indicating he had put the site back to the original gameplay.

The game site has oviously changed since this post, as it doesn't follow the original game any longer as ListenD pointed out. Whether this is a new ATS game or coinkidink remains to be seen

I'm not convinced this is a new/refreshed game (yet)

Perhaps this has been sitting around waiting for us to start since the last game.

Maybe there is a clue on this link. Like I said, I'm guessing we have to ask the right question, or person to get the next hint, but who could we ask? What do we ask them?

I bet the Amigos just love to make people lose their minds during these games.

Wasn't around for the last game but am hoping that this is a sign of fun times to come

Hex Color in page title “What is the Conspiracy”:

The hex code for the title color is #600000. Now it might just be that the author wanted the text to start dark and gradient lighter as the text descended the page but all the other colors are shades of gray/black?. Just to be sure I checked single post 600000 and it is a thread dealing with the existence of Jesus. I don't think this has anything to do with the game/page (unkown what it is at this point. a search of 600000 in ATS brings up numerous threads/subjects.

These are just ramblings as we don't know if this is a game and if it is, if it has started yet. In case it has started, I figured we may as well start digging with what we have.

Only thing I have noticed while taking a quick look at the page source for What is the conspiracy is that the last three lines that I think no one as commented on:

"Wait for the sign" = 12 px in size and as a hue of #404040

"Knowledge will be released" = 11 px in size and as a hue of #606060

"Those who are worthy will understand the grand confusion of our time" = 10 px in size and as a hue of #808080

To me that could be turned into some sort of rule, for each 1px you take off the font size the hue as 202020 added to it.

-1 px and + #202020

But I guess its reasons for being could just be completely innocent. I never was that good at these sorts of games

Don't do it Lol. First, it diminishes the spirit of the game, and second, you will have a "banned tag" yesterday probably.

You need to open up the page source, basically one method:

1) go to the Recent Active Discussions list

2) Go to your browsers View option and select Page Source

3) On the page source window click Edit and choose find

4) Type into the find window, www.whatistheconspiracy.com...

5) It will take you to where the link is.

Though you can find the link if you check the source of any thread :-)

Perhaps that is when the game will start. Take the # off and flip it around, and you get 080808, or Aug 08, 2008.

alright the mod jsut said there is no game, therefore there is no game, but yeah lets keep digging, i remember the first game, last summer, i was up till 5 am every night following it, mods kept quiet, no annuncements were made o nthe site about the game, it was pretty shady, and it was completely awesome
